Please allow multiple shipping options! We have different shipping tiers on Shopify so I don't understand why that can't just carry through to Shopify Subscriptions since this is all under Shopify.
Also, we have tried importing our subscriber list and since the shipping price is wrong, we were told to delete the app for 72 hours to clear our list and start over. Did that and canceled subscribers are still showing up in our contracts dashboard meaning we have duplicates inhibiting us from selling subscriptions to customers.
Support - please help!

I really, really, really want to be able to use this native subscription app, BUT... there is no way that I can see that a customer can add or remove products from their account portal.
Am I missing something?
Hi, glad to hear you are excited about using the Subscription app!
You can set up customer management in Shopify's customer accounts.
If you have new customer accounts active, customers can log in to their account from your online store navigation and manage their subscriptions. If you have classic customer accounts, then you can share the subscription management url to give customers access to manage their own subscriptions.
Customers with new customer accounts or classic customer accounts can manage their subscriptions by clicking Manage your subscription from your automated subscription email notifications. These are automatically turned on when you download the app and you can edit them from the Settings section in the Subscription section of the app.
Turn on subscription management in your Shopify admin settings to allow customers to manage their subscriptions.
Steps:
From the Shopify admin, go to Settings > Customers.
Under New customer accounts in the Manage subscriptions section, click Turn on.
Optional: You can add the Subscriptions page link.
You can find out more information on the help center here: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/products/purchase-options/shopify-subscriptions/customer-experience#subscription-management-for-customers
Hope this helps and don't hesitate to reach out to support if you have more questions.

Easy to set up and use, only been using for a week and already seeing benefits.
As many have already mentioned - I have been waiting for this app to come out for ages. Thrilled it is finally here.

The interface is clean and simple and looks great on our site. That's an awesome plus.
-
The customer-facing interface and account management are clean and function very well. This was always a big problem we had with other paid subscription apps. We want to make it really easy and transparent for customers to view and edit their subscriptions.

The only negative piece of the app was that porting over previous customer data from other subscription apps was overly complicated and very painful. While there is some documentation, you will need to translate the info from your previous tool, and the process can be very manual. That being said - the Shopify support was outstanding, and they helped us work through these issues. Without Shopify's support working through the import of old data, we would have had to ask all customers to sign up again, which would have been painful.
-
My only immediate request for the app in future updates is that the analytics become a bit more detailed. It would be really nice to be able to drill into the data.

I would give this app 5-Stars because a) it's great to have a simple native subscription app, b) it's great that it's free, and c) Shopify support was fantastic as we worked on transferring over.
I'd give ZERO stars if I could, this app is a complete waste of time. It's pretty clear that they have no interest in fixing any of the issues when customer support advises that the best course of action is to speak to a third party dev... why would I do that when it's built by Shopify and enabled on a Shopify built theme with no alterations or any additional code. Such a joke, clearly don't know what they are doing given that it was launched after the beta version had numerous bugs.

At first this app seemed great, but half the time there are glitches when I There is no way to see data about how many people have their subscriptions active (total) for fulfillment & no way to make all the subscriptions charge on the same day every month. You cannot edit the dates at all.
This app could be really great, but it seems it was rushed and a lot of basic functions are missing or glitchy.
Great will recommend
Minimal ability to edit the text, leading to confusion over terms. Specifically, the bottom text about cancel/pause/renew -- very handy, agree with it entirely on principle, I wanted to (but could not) edit the text to point out that this is for the subscription purchase and not the one-off. The formatting left it a bit vague.
Colors do not pull dynamically from BRAND, which feels an odd and uncomfortable choice to leave off.
Unsure when subscriptions bill -- the first of the month? The day customers sign up? This is not a setting nor was easy to find out when installing the app.
Options were unclear. I can add an option to send weekly or monthly or annually, I assume that's how often to customer gets charged? Would request clarification on wording in the dashboard so I can offer better thoughts. At first I took it as "oh, customer can be charged for 3 months, and then I'll mail... once... a month... no that's not right..."
While installed, there was a conflict where the subscription app was duplicating in my footer. This is not a mark-off of the app, may be a theme issue, but mentioning it for dev exploration.
The checklist in the backend upon install did not check off steps as I was going through them, which lead to considerable worry and time spent over exploration: "Am I doing this right, is something not clicking, what is happening."
Overall, the idea is GREAT as a starter. The execution needs review, the backend communication needs review.
Will keep an eye on app to see if work continues.
It's a good start for this app, however there are a few things which need to be added or adjusted:
- More frontend design options (very limited at this point, own css customizations would be helpful)
- Options for customers to select dates for delivery and payment.
Easy to set up, but lacks basic functions. You can't set a minimum for how long a customer has to subscribe which is silly to me because people can just take advantage of the discount, then unsubscribe right away.
