The app is fine, but it's useless because of how it handles shipping rates. Basically, it only allows having 1 shipping rate. So, if you want to offer Pickup $0 and Shipping $N, you can't do it. It will always show Pickup $0. It's super important that they fix this...
Hi there,
Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback.
We are working on enabling shipping rates on our app. Please stay tuned !

It's a good start, but the functionality is extremely limited for someone coming from one of the paid subscription apps. For example you cannot choose a specific date a customer will be charged for their subscription every month. Hopefully they will keep developing features and add options in the future.
Edit: just changed my review to one star because customers only get a single shipping option, no matter how many options you have available
Hi, we appreciate your feedback about anchor dates and the ability to select multiple shipping options.
We have informed our development team about adding them for potential future updates.
We value your contribution towards the evolution of our app!

Please allow multiple shipping options! We have different shipping tiers on Shopify so I don't understand why that can't just carry through to Shopify Subscriptions since this is all under Shopify.
Also, we have tried importing our subscriber list and since the shipping price is wrong, we were told to delete the app for 72 hours to clear our list and start over. Did that and canceled subscribers are still showing up in our contracts dashboard meaning we have duplicates inhibiting us from selling subscriptions to customers.
Support - please help!

I was really excited about this and it is good for a lot of things! However, it does not offer the option to pay the full amount upfront and have the delivery be done every month. We are trying to have the option to pay in full and then have auto-generating orders populating based on that but not charging the customer every month. IDK maybe I am missing it. I am open to feedback and ideas!
Hello,
Thank you the feedback for accepting payments for pre-orders (pay in upfront and delivery in month) for subscriptions.
We have communicated your feedback to our development for future updates. Your feedback is valuable for the evolution of our app!

As many have already mentioned - I have been waiting for this app to come out for ages. Thrilled it is finally here.
-
The interface is clean and simple and looks great on our site. That's an awesome plus.
-
The customer-facing interface and account management are clean and function very well. This was always a big problem we had with other paid subscription apps. We want to make it really easy and transparent for customers to view and edit their subscriptions.
-
The only negative piece of the app was that porting over previous customer data from other subscription apps was overly complicated and very painful. While there is some documentation, you will need to translate the info from your previous tool, and the process can be very manual. That being said - the Shopify support was outstanding, and they helped us work through these issues. Without Shopify's support working through the import of old data, we would have had to ask all customers to sign up again, which would have been painful.
-
My only immediate request for the app in future updates is that the analytics become a bit more detailed. It would be really nice to be able to drill into the data.
-
I would give this app 5-Stars because a) it's great to have a simple native subscription app, b) it's great that it's free, and c) Shopify support was fantastic as we worked on transferring over.
Shopify should really have this integrate into the draft orders as well, so we can take subscription orders over the phone or email. Overall it's good. I like that it's free unlike competitor apps
I'm feeling frustrated and disappointed because I've been searching for hours for a live store that uses this app to see how it works in real-time, but I haven't had any luck. even their support chat doesn't want to share any resources.
I'm surprised that the Shopify tech team hasn't created a demo store when every crappy app in the store seems to have one.
I wonder what kind of tech team is working in there, and I think someone should be held accountable for this negligence.
Sorry guys. Did you announce the Subscription App last Summer? Yes.
I know it is hard work. I like to make everything simple. Your app is simple. It is no problem.
What is the problem? The widget. The visible part for our customers. The translation needs to be fixed fast. I wonder why the copy of the widget is visible at the bottom of the page.
And a tip for customization? Allow selecting the primary option for a subscription. Just now, only a one-time purchase is possible. Thank you for your fast repair.
Hi there,
Thank you for taking the time to review and provide us with feedback.
We have made updates that solve the problems you faced:
1.We have updated our app to support translations to local languages.
2. To ensure the correct placement of the subscription widget we recommend that
- If you are on a vintage theme, ensure that you have added the code snipped to the product template before turning on the app embed.
Adding the code snippet will ensure that the widget displays in the correct place on the product page. You'll have to add the code snipped to the appropriate section of the product template. See the vintage theme instructions on this page - https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/products/purchase-options/shopify-subscriptions/setup#display-subscriptions-on-online-store.
-If you are on a 2.0 theme please ensure that the app embed is toggled to off. App embeds are only used for vintage themes.
Hope this helps! We thank you for feedback that helped with the continuous evolution of our app

Minimal ability to edit the text, leading to confusion over terms. Specifically, the bottom text about cancel/pause/renew -- very handy, agree with it entirely on principle, I wanted to (but could not) edit the text to point out that this is for the subscription purchase and not the one-off. The formatting left it a bit vague.
Colors do not pull dynamically from BRAND, which feels an odd and uncomfortable choice to leave off.
Unsure when subscriptions bill -- the first of the month? The day customers sign up? This is not a setting nor was easy to find out when installing the app.
Options were unclear. I can add an option to send weekly or monthly or annually, I assume that's how often to customer gets charged? Would request clarification on wording in the dashboard so I can offer better thoughts. At first I took it as "oh, customer can be charged for 3 months, and then I'll mail... once... a month... no that's not right..."
While installed, there was a conflict where the subscription app was duplicating in my footer. This is not a mark-off of the app, may be a theme issue, but mentioning it for dev exploration.
The checklist in the backend upon install did not check off steps as I was going through them, which lead to considerable worry and time spent over exploration: "Am I doing this right, is something not clicking, what is happening."
Overall, the idea is GREAT as a starter. The execution needs review, the backend communication needs review.
Will keep an eye on app to see if work continues.
At first this app seemed great, but half the time there are glitches when I There is no way to see data about how many people have their subscriptions active (total) for fulfillment & no way to make all the subscriptions charge on the same day every month. You cannot edit the dates at all.
This app could be really great, but it seems it was rushed and a lot of basic functions are missing or glitchy.
