Beware – this app does not move your files in the way you might expect! It simply renames images using the format FolderName_FileName but does not update file paths across your Shopify site - only product images are adjusted. This crucial detail is not mentioned anywhere in the app description or documentation.
After moving all my images, every non-product image on my Shopify store was replaced with a placeholder, forcing me into a 24-hour nightmare of manually restoring them one by one.
I strongly feel this should have been made clear upfront in the app description. New users should be warned before making the same mistake I did!
To make matters worse, I reached out to support twice, once for this issue and once for another matter, and received zero response.
Update:
The company has since uninstalled the app without speaking to me first, locking me out and preventing me from undoing the changes as they suggested. This feels like petty behavior, especially considering I was never given a chance to resolve the issue myself. While they did apply a credit for the month’s fee, the lack of communication and control over the app's changes is incredibly frustrating.
Additionally, the company claims to have responded to my support inquiries, but I never received any of their emails. I have no issues receiving messages from Shopify or other apps, so it's very suspicious that their purported responses never came through.
I would caution others to be aware of the app's limitations and the company's lack of support, especially if you encounter any issues.

After a week of waiting for a response and receiving none, we've uninstalled the application for you and applied a month's fee as credit so you're not charged.
We wish you well, and if you're interested in trying out the app again, do reach out to us.
Updated on Feb 27, 2025:
As promised in our previous response, we've added an explicit warning when users try to rename their files or folders, use the organize action or move their files or folders - https://imgur.com/a/KguaEMu
We've also added instructions on how to revert these types of changes.
Thank you again for calling attention to this critical issue.

Hi Stonelux team,
Our team responded to your email in about 1 hour and 10 minutes, please see here screenshots of our responses and email delivery receipts.

Please check your spam folders in case our emails are in there.
We assumed that you would get back to us after the weekend and so did not follow up again.
We have taken your feedback seriously and will do the following in the next few days:
a) update our store listing and application to call this feature prominently, and
b) build a feature to revert files to their original state in case of a mishap.
As noted in our first email, we've refunded your subscription that was started a few hours before you ran into this issue.
Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience caused. We're happy to work with again should you choose to reach out to us.
In contrast to the other reviewer here, I find this app to be working very well!
One needs to understand that folders are not supported by Shopify, so the app is simply making it look that way, by naming the files like this: FolderName_FileName etc.
But being able to see a subset of files (and calling that a folder) and basically bulk-renaming them if you rename the folder, that's very helpful.
As a developer of software myself I think these developers have managed the limitations of Shopify well. The app creates a queue of things to do and works on it in the background.
If you use this app knowing that it is a powerful renaming tool, it's great!
We appreciate you presenting a clear way to use the application to merchants' benefits and the glowing review!
The app does not work, even after deleting files they stay. It also will mess up your file structure for your template images as well. I do not suggest using this app. I've now lost so much work I had already done.

We've emailed Fan Club Shirts thrice and haven't received a response. We understand your frustration and remain available if and when you need help.
Edited on Nov 16, 2024:
Hi Fan Club Shirts team,
We're sorry that the application did not work as you expected.
We've investigated your store's files’ status just before you uninstalled the application and noticed the following things:
1. You've created 3 new directories - "Branding", "Website Images" and "Spec Sheets"
2. These directories have 7, 1 and 360 files respectively
3. The names of the files in the directories were updated with the directories as the prefix. We've mentioned this in the feature list of the application but will try to make it more obvious
4. The remaining 2500+ files remain unchanged
If the issue you encountered is indeed the file names changing unexpectedly, we can help you fix it in a matter of minutes.
To restore original file names, you need to:
1. Install the application, and
2. Move the files in the directories to the "Home" directory
This will reset the filenames to what they used to be.
If you'd like we can also take care of this after you've installed the application, or have other questions, don't hesitate to email us.
