I installed the app for the purpose of compressing images quickly, and easily. However, when I saw that it offered many more SEO-related problem solving, combined with immaculate support, I got hooked for real. I heard that they will soon come out with an update which, among other things, will give you the option to add 301-redirects in bulk. Without a doubt, I can say that managing a Shopify Store with TinyIMG makes my job as an SEO-consultant way easier. It’s going great so far. I have noticed a significant increase in speed after making some changes within the app.

From a performance score of 50 to 84 in 15 minutes.

Had a Google speed performance of 50, so I bought the 24 months subscription to enable all features.

I went through the basic image stuff and finally got to lazy loading. To use lazy loading, the app prompts you to backup your theme and then send a pre-written message to their support who'll then enable it.

I was matched with Julia who confirmed my backup and then proactively reviewed my website. She found out lazy loading was already enabled in my theme (standard from Shopify) but in a counterproductive way.

It only took her and her colleagues a few minutes of access to fix it and boost my performance score to 84.

Remaining issues preventing me from going any higher relate to Google Tag Manager js and loox js.

Quite easy to handle for non-pro and rather efficient if I am to believe GTMetrix. Support is super reactive also. Nice job team !
