SparkLayer B2B & Wholesale

We've been using SparkLayer B2B for a few years now and it's been a really practical tool for our business. New functionality is constantly being added and the customer support is excellent!

Highly recommend.

Absolute worse B2B we have ever tried. We have had it for 2 years and I can not say it has been working well a single month. There are constant technical errors and we get emails every month from stockists not being able to order. We have lost so, so much on using this app - both on the app cost itself but also lost orders for customers being annoyed of the constant problems. Why we haven't changed in 2 years if we have been unsatisfied - our B2B has not been our priority as we have had focus on opening physical stores and was hoping that the app would have become better at the time we are able to focus on b2b again but unfortunately it is still as laggy as before. Can not recommend anyone this app. When we mentioned this to the customer support they always say they will come back with a compensation suggestion but that has never happened - they never come back with what they say they will get back on and we are done with this now.

I find the SparkLayer app quite simple to use, we import prices from Sage, as well as manually uploading price lists. You can layer price lists making it easy to manually price offers etc.

Strong B2B App that helps with many different aspects of the B2B sales. Different pricing related to customers groups, sales agent ordering and much more. Also very strong support that is helpfull with all aspects.

Before looking at Sparklayer, I looked and tried many of the other wholesale / b2b apps on shopify. Sparklayer blew me away compared to them in terms of comprehensive features for b2b and ease of use. All the other apps were super ugly and hard to use. Sparklayer is robust and can handle so many different situations. Plus their support is pretty good (although I wish they had support that overlapped more with USA times zones) and their documentation is extensive.

Downsides: sometimes there's technical bugs that require a developer or support, their support is on UK time, and its fairly expensive.

Unbelievable App. We are a B2B business and to use Shopify Plus is a huge and extremely expensive step up from the lower plans, so when I found Spark Layer was purpose built for B2B businesses but at a fraction of the price of Shopify Plus, it was a no brainer. And it hasn't disappointed. Our customer's regularly tell us how much they love ordering products from our store compared to other stores. Also, their support is very good. If you have any suggestions or queries they are very quick to respond and genuinely care about what you are saying. Unbelievable app and company. Thanks for everything!

With Shopify Plus being prohibitively expensive for small businesses, this is the simplest and best B2B Shopify solution for us. The support has been top notch, too.
