I am rating this app as 4 stars for now. Will change it to 5 stars once Ali adds a collection filter in "Exclude Products" or a "click all" feature when excluding products. Hard to do it per SKU when your site is multi-brand and pick-up is at your brick and mortar stores.
Thank you for your feedback!!! At the moment all merchants can exclude products from the pickup on a per-product basis. We are working on a feature from where merchants would be able to exclude on the basis of the collection as well. It would be available very soon.
I think this app helps some, but the information for pickup doesn't initially flow into the packing slip unless you request additional support (we use it to fulfill the orders), and the app uses tags to work, which clogs up the tags so I don't see what I need to see in the dashboard. It feels like the app creators need to go further to put the information - date and time from the customer - into something that we as the end-user can see and print out when dealing with the orders. I downloaded this app back in February of 2022, and the same thing happened then. I was hoping that there were changes from that time, but nope, it's the same.

Thanks for your feedback. Most of the merchants don't need to show up pickup date/time on their packing slip. They only need to check what date/time the customer has selected. Or they want to see the pickup location the customer has selected. Still, we ask merchants if they want the pickup information on their packing slip, and if they want we add it for them. Shopify also doesn't allow the packing slip to be automatically updated. and none of the other similar apps does this. I hope you understand.

Recently installed the app to get our shopify store completed with in store pickup. I had a question and emailed in and quickly got a response with instructions on how to make the change. Very pleased.

This app was perfect for our needs! We needed customers to be able to select which store they would like to pick up from independent of the actual location's inventory and this not only handled that but also works so much more intuitively than the Local Pickup option that is built into Shopify. We have a few small hiccups while getting the app setup, but Ali was able to get us sorted out with lightning speed and efficiency. I wholeheartedly recommend this app not only for how well it works but also how great the support is!
Deinstallation did not work, still some remaing assets which are slowing down my page extremly. Waiting now for CS to help. --------------------------------------
Here Genie CS's update what to do:
"Please follow the following steps to make sure that everything is deleted out from your store: 1) Remove the {% include 'genie-store-pickup' %} line from your Layout > theme.liquid file.
2) Remove the line from your Sections > cart-template.liquid file.
3) Delete the Snipets > genie-store-pickup.liquid file.
4) Delete the Assets > genie-storepickup.scss file.
5) Delete the Assets > genie-storepickup.js file.
6) Delete the Assets > genie-storepickup-vender.js file.
7) Delete the Locales > en-GP.json file. Here is the guide as well that we have included in our application.

I hope you are doing well. Our assets can not slow down any page because they are not used when the application has been uninstalled. As soon as the application gets uninstalled Shopify removes our access. That's why we are not able to delete any assets. The issue might be coming because of another code in your store. We can check your store for you that why it's getting slow.

I didn't try it out. I'm looking for a basic date/time picker solution and this app CLAIMED: Price: Free.
However, after installing it, it says it's only a free trial with a subscription fee after. This information is not advertised anywhere on the app page like it is for other similar apps.
