Interface is clunky (can't easily find where to do things like modifying outgoing email copy) and uses difficult-to-understand language, especially in the updates section of customer accounts. We lost two subscriptions because they were put through as one-time purchases yet Recharge couldn’t explain why. The add-ons section looks unrefined and is difficult for customers to comprehend (a time-consuming process for the few who do) so we lose out on add-on purchases. Now, we’re trying to achieve the ‘simple’ task of updating our email address: not only have we gone back-and-forth with Recharge for over a week, now we’re receiving error messages and customer emails are still going from our old email. Once our plan is up, we’re moving to a new app—also one that won't charge $99/month plus a transaction fee—even at the risk of losing current subscribers.
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear you had a less-than-stellar experience with us. We have taken this review to our team and will be reaching out to you for more detail so we can resolve this issue.

Overall customer support is good and responsive. they helped with my issues in a timely manner.
features are good and the subscription product works great with shopify
Difficult to manage your own account settings, not clear how to manage yoru plans or see your cumulative fees
Recharge customer service has been consistently good! Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that ReCharge doesn't have access to the Bulk Discount logic that we wrote as a Shopify Script. We setup a rule, "Buy 3 - 4 items, save 10%, buy 5+ items, save 15%." The initial order is priced correctly, but subsequent subscription orders do not have the bulk discount, so we have to manually correct these. It's a bit of a pain. I believe this is caused by a limitation imposed on ReCharge by Shopify not giving API access to Shopify Scripts. (?) ReCharge recommended that we use their new Checkout / Cart, but that currently only supports Shopify Payments, and we're on Braintree. So we're basically at a Catch-22. But in general, ReCharge does an excellent job for us and our customers.
Vinse Ridenour was very helpful getting us up and running, excellent customer service and very knowledgeable. Recharge has great functionality and is well integrated with Shopify.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review - and for the shout out to Vinse!

I had some trouble with loading my products. However after contact with customer support, Gabriel helped me as quick as lightning. The problem was solved very quickly.
Can someone please get back to me.
Since 6 months ago we are requesting to convert to a Shopify checkout integration as recharge is not compatible with out delivery date selector Zapiet. Customers can't make any new subscriptions as no-one can checkout with a subscription product at the moment.
I've messaged and emailed so many times to your support team, please please please help.
Support is very hit or miss. Was very responsive when trying to bring us on and get us installed, then just completely stopped responding once they started getting money from us. App is not user friendly if you have a lot of items in your store (1000+). A lot of the stuff you need to do in bulk you can only do at a max 100 products at a time (i.e, updating product subscription settings).
Excellent app and fantastic support. After looking at many different options I am glad I found Recharge Subscriptions
We use the app since 9 months and run close to $100k per month over it. Technical support is very good. However, very disappointed with the way Recharge handles key account management. We have contacted account exec several times. No / hardly no answer. We complained. No answer. We requested change of account exec. No answer.
App and configurations take a bit of getting use to however, their support team is great to work with. Javaughn was super speedy and helpful with getting a customer set up properly.
