We've had Recharge for about a year now. It was a bit of a bumpy start, but it app works so well, and really adds value and convenience for our customers - and saves a ton of time for our customer service team so they're not constantly fixing glitches. Recharge app meets our requirements in terms of the subscription model. We had a smooth implementation with the Recharge team, and all our technical concerns were addressed with the help of Vinse Ridenour, our dedicated Implementation Engineer, and Braxen McConnell, our Account Executive.
Recharge is highly recommended as one of the Ecom tech stacks, especially since it’s fully integrated with other third-party Shopify apps like Gorgias and Klaviyo.

I got Recharge primarily for the RechargeSMS capabilities and it has been an atrocious user experience both as a customer and for my customers. The RechargeSMS does not work.
There is nothing on the onboarding process about needing to be on Twilo before setting up workflows. And you have to fill out a spreadsheet instead of inputing your information into a website to do so.
My customers were automatically enrolled even though they did not sign up for SMS, and then are bombarded with emails about not being able to receive texts creating a confusing user experience. And to top it all of the email branding doesn't work within Recharge SMS.
Stay away from this until they get the app sorted out. They do not have a good process or flow and seem to be building the plane as they fly. Not worth the $500 a month at all.

This is specifically about support, not much experience with the workings of the app itself yet.
I was having trouble reading and comprehending all the information on the upcoming Shopify Checkout Integration. Got on support and Ola was totally professional and courteous in walking me through my questions bit, by bit, by bit. Some she reasonably couldn't address. Greatly appreciate them.

My customers haven’t been able to subscribe since the update and recharge price went up but I’m not seeing the benefit , also I did the upgrade multiple times and the day the switch happened I was notified I had not successfully done the switch. Not impressed
