I agree with the most current review as i too have experienced the same issue with the mobile speed increasing and then out of no where i checked the speed score and it had dropped all the way back down. This app only seems to work in the first initial install then just stops out of now where with no warning. I have tried several apps and not one yet has done what they claimed to do such as increasing your loading speed and maintain it.
It’s really useless. It seems to be a little bit faster the next day after the installation. The speed measured by Google, after 3 days, is getting slower and slower than before the installation.

As stated clearly in the documentation, this app will not improve your Google Lighthouse speed score though. It improves the speed of navigation to the *next page* the shopper visits, making it feel faster - as you experienced.
You can use the new built in Shopify "Loading Speed" report, which measures real user visits to validate the improvements the app has made to your site instead.
Just installed this app., and my site is much faster. The mobile speed went from 12 to 11 though. Not sure why. I might just have to find a mobile speed app.. All and all I totally did this app.. Thank you!!
