Absolutely the worst customer service. You cannot get passed the AI chat. Paid for a pro plan. A hiccup happened which reverted my plan to “free”. Tried to contact customer service to get them to dix it, but AI won’t let me talk to a live person cause my plan is “free”…
We use to use Swell and they were purchased by Yotpo. Yotpo customer service only can get be assessed by email using a ticket system that takes about a day to get an answer. When they have an issue there is no answer for such as why does this customer not have an awards account.
We have been a customer of theirs for years and on the Shopify platform for 10 years.
This company is terrible. I switched back to the free plan and I was still charged, when asking to speak to someone the chat wouldn't assist me and then the chat closed down on me.
No support from our client success manager at all. No answers to our messages.

Horrible experience.
The company keeps charging my credit card even after i un installed the app. I reached out to them after I un installed the app and to not charge my credit card but they still kept doing it and told me that under the contract they were able to do it as both parties need to say in writing 30 days before to cancel. I was on a enterprise custom plan and was paying a hefty amount as well.
And on top of this the real issue is that they automatically renewed the contract for another year with even notifying me first.
When i asked them that I was not informed about the continuation of the contract they said and i quote
"a. Make sure our clients' shoppers' experience is seamless and uninterrupted.
b. Plan our budget and roadmap according to our annual agreements. We are making sure we foresee partnerships year over year and plan accordingly. "
this is a company that does not care anything about their customers and have sneaky ways to empty out your pockets.
Think twice before installing this app.
Disappointed with Yotpo Loyalty and Reviews. Basic features like percentage-based discounts — which are essential for how we run our business — are locked behind their most expensive plan. It feels like they charge premium prices for bare minimum functionality. Definitely not worth the cost for what you get.
The phone number they list is wrong and for an air conditioning company. Also no live chat.
Hurts our businesses when clients have questions that we cannot get quick answers too.

This is without a doubt the most difficult problematic app that I have attempted to install and customize on my website in my 11 years on shopify and 26 years selling on line. Instructions are not concise and there are errors. Having to communicate through chat is a HUGE time sucker. It takes days to get an answer to something that a 10 minute phone call would fix. I love the "redeem loyalty point at checkout feature" but just try to install it! It works on a checkout extension that is only available for Shopify Plus.
I am just about to delete the app and ask for a refund. I have wasted 3 days on this and today is number 4. I have been waiting over an hour for someone in chat with and I have been Number 3 in line the whole time. I already have smile.io and have since 2016. This just sounded easier for my customers to redeem if they could do so at check out. I am beyond frustrated at this point.
Update: I could not get help so I discontinued the app. They owe me $40 for the money that I added to the SMS/email app. I asked for the refund and was told to uninstall that apps first and the refund request would be processed. After that all communications were cut and I cannot contact them. My emails are blocked as well. How unprofessional is that? I have never had to say this about an app, but HIGHLY do NOT recommend.
Definitely the issues have not been resolved.

Update on the review - it will definitely make you loose money.
The interface is so confusing, nothing works properly when you set up a system.
I would say the main issue is the difficult to set up/use interface, and customer service that is below standard and very unhelpful.
Overall, I would not advise to install this, even if you have a developer.

My app quit working, i can't get in and neither can my customers. This has been going on for days. I got one response from support and then haven't heard anything. Please let me know why this isn't working!!!!! love swell rewards, it's easy to use and my customers are loving it.
