Cannot believe that a free app like this exists! Exceptional in functionality, so easy to integrate and immediately use. My site gets a decent bit of traffic for starters and tawk makes it ridiculously simple to connect or be connected with. Design options are available as well and they can be matched exactly to your website as well. Test it on my site www.edgability.com if you need to, there will always be someone available to chat since there is a mobile app alongwith the desktop app. Free!!

This new update has Widget Cards that allow you to personalize the content of yourwidget. You can now add any kind of content to your widget, including videos, images and agent profiles. It’s like having a mini-website in the chat.

You can also set separate positions for your widget on desktop and mobile devices.

Follow these steps to change the position of the widget on mobile:

4. Under Mobile Widget, select your preferred Mobile Widget Position.

Handy app. It is really annoying though. By default it has a really obnoxious sound that plays when your users visit your site. It has a popup chat message that is automatically enabled that you have to hunt for the setting to disable. It also does not allow you to manage, change or update any settings from inside the Shopfiy Admin area, you have to to to Tawk.to's website to change anything.

We've been using this app for about a week now, and it's already made such a huge impact on our business. Compared to our last free app that would only work through the customer's facebook messenger, we would have maybe 2 people message us a month. This one we have been getting several messages each day. The customization is great, and the monitoring options - WOW. I'm sure we have just started to scrape the surface of their features, but so far it's been amazing. So many features for a free app, it's just wonderful. Thanks Tawk.to keep it up!

Our Monitoring feature shows real-time activities of visitors. You can view detailed information on your visitor's activity by selecting the monitoring tab along the left side of the dashboard.

At a glance, you can ascertain details such as which country they're from, the webpage they are currently browsing, how long they've been on the site, how many times they've visited the site and how many previous times they've engaged in chat.

So glad I found this app... I was really hesitant to add live chat to my site, as I was nervous to how it would incorporate into my life and work. This app was incredibly easy to install, works great and has great functionality. I'm able to schedule the live chat to be available during only certain hours (so that it won't wake me when I'm sleeping at night!) and I can even choose to hide it from visitors during that time or give them the opportunity to "leave a message", but show that I am offline.

The analytics and monitoring it provides is excellent and I have no complaints after having it installed for a few days. Really thankful and surprised that an app with such great functionality is committed to providing such a great free service.

The Scheduler allows you to manage the operating days and times of the chat widget.

It will automatically switch your widget offline according to your schedule, so you never have to worry about forgetting to log out of your account.

It works in tandem with your agents, if there are no agents online when your widget is scheduled to be online, the widget will instead stay offline.

Worth every penny, even if they did charge. Easily customizable, easy to use on desk top or mobile. Customers have all been really excited to have a chat option.

For free it's a great app with lots of functions. However, I've had an issue arise and even two weeks later I'm struggling to get a response. The support specialists can't offer a time frame and I feel like they don't particularly care about the issue.

Update. It's now 7/09/20. I opened case on 28/06/20 and I still don't have a response. I am still getting no help when asking how long it will take for a response.

My issue is related to the scheduler not turning on and off when it's supposed to meaning that people are expecting chats when I'm not online and getting annoyed when no one is responding. I'm wondering if they're waiting for the UK time change??!

Yes the option is there to do it manually but that is ensuring that you remember to turn it on and off when necessary. It's frustrating that there is an option to schedule online and offline hours but it doesn't work.

Thank you for your patience as you experienced challenges with our support team.

There are some circumstances in which we have to escalate cases to find answers and it takes additional time to revert back to you.

The Scheduler allows you to manage the operating days and times of the widget.

Its purpose is to make the widget go offline, even if there are Agents logged in.

For example, let's say you’ve scheduled your widget to appear online from 9 AM - 5 PM.

If you log in before 9 AM, you will not receive chats and your visitor will get the offline form.

The same thing happens when the clock hits 5 PM. Even if there are agents online, the widget is forced to go offline.

this is incredible value .. FREE ?! wt! such an advance app and interface dashboard and plenty of widgets to custom your own look .. an iphone app too for 24/7 custom support... you'd seriously be crazy not to instal this .. I'm gonna use this to its max.. triggers/behaviours. analytics.. this is super geekness at its best for $0000.00 pm !
