good app to talk to customer. sometimes it glitches and i do not get a notification but just gotta re-start the app. should be fixed, but works well otherwise.

The app itself is good but unfortunately the support is awful, I had a very impatient agent on their live chat who resorted to using capital letters with me, granted I was not understanding what he was getting at but this patronising and unhelpful tone is not a good sign of support

App never worked. its literally an app with a blank screen. coding was still left on my website after I deleted it. don't get it!

There is an easy fix if you encountered issues when installing the tawk.to chat widget on your Shopify dashboard.
Follow the steps below to install the chat widget:
1. Clear your browser and cookies.
2. Log in to your Shopify dashboard.
3. Then visit https://apps.shopify.com/tawk-to.
4. Click the Add app button for the tawk.to app.
5. Select the green Install app button to continue. You'll then be prompted to log in to your tawk.to account and accept a permission request from Shopify.
6. Then log in to your tawk.to account from the tawk.to app in your Shopify dashboard and choose the property and widget you would like to add to your site.
The widget will be added to all pages of your Shopify site.
If you wish to uninstall the app manually from your site, follow the steps below:
(Note that this guide uses the "Basic Liquid Theme - Debut" as an example. If you have a different theme and you don't have theme.liquid file, please refer to your theme's developer where you can find or try to look for footer.liquid.")
1.) Go to your Shopify Dashboard, Click "Online Store" - See screenshot: https://prnt.sc/oj1s19
2.) Click "Action" > then "Edit Code" - See screenshot: https://prnt.sc/oj1tg7
3.) In "Layout" > click "theme.liquid" file > scroll to the bottom and you'll see the tag. See screenshot: https://prnt.sc/oj1v0s. You can also use the Find function (Ctrl+F) to locate the start and end code of the tawk.to widget code.
4.Delete the tawk.to script code and select Save
I hope this addresses your concern.
A bit buggy. The menu interface is a bit clustered and the settings panel is not very user friendly. I say the entire menu interface should be updated into a more user friendly experience then this app would easily get 5 stars. Other than that and some minor bugs, the tawk.to app can be used while on desktop and also downloaded on your phone or tablet so you can chat with customers live...that functionality is great. Being able to customize the chat panel in many ways and automatically greet the visitor can be a very useful tool for your business. Gets the job done and I haven't found any other apps that compare in that regard.

To send an automated message when a visitor lands on your website, we have our default Basic Site Notification Trigger. This Trigger will automatically fire a message to all pages of your website (both main and sub-pages) when a visitor is active on your site and does not initiate a chat within the first 30 seconds.
You can also create an Advanced Trigger to fire a second message if your visitor is still on the page after a time delay you specify.

I've only just started using this app.
PROS: Free, has a lot of information (also a con), seems to be working on Safari.
CONS: Has a LOT going on within the app. It is a bit much and could really be scaled back and redesigned to make it more user friendly. Does not appear to be working on Google Chrome (chat box doesn't appear at all).

We've been using this app for about a week now, and it's already made such a huge impact on our business. Compared to our last free app that would only work through the customer's facebook messenger, we would have maybe 2 people message us a month. This one we have been getting several messages each day. The customization is great, and the monitoring options - WOW. I'm sure we have just started to scrape the surface of their features, but so far it's been amazing. So many features for a free app, it's just wonderful. Thanks Tawk.to keep it up!

Our Monitoring feature shows real-time activities of visitors. You can view detailed information on your visitor's activity by selecting the monitoring tab along the left side of the dashboard.
At a glance, you can ascertain details such as which country they're from, the webpage they are currently browsing, how long they've been on the site, how many times they've visited the site and how many previous times they've engaged in chat.

Worth every penny, even if they did charge. Easily customizable, easy to use on desk top or mobile. Customers have all been really excited to have a chat option.
