A definite must if you're getting an Out of the Sandbox theme......you need to keep up with changes and this does it easily.
Go Pro and you get additional sections to add to your site.

Works great although not all customizations will be transferred although its a lot better than previously. Love the new sections which have been added. Support is also great!

Thank you very much for your review! Themes that do have additional third party customizations can still view the code that will need to be transferred over, which is a huge bonus, and saves time when updating from one theme version to another.

No direct support contact on their page

This is the email we received, with one day to action this otherwise our site will be taken down,
I am not impressed.
We received a Digital Millennium Copyright Act takedown notice from a theme developer claiming that your Shopify store, xxxxxxxx is using an unlicensed version of the following theme:
https://outofthesandbox.com/collections/turbo-theme
Your store will be taken offline on November 6, 2024 if this issue hasn’t been resolved. You can resolve this issue by:
Purchase: consider buying the theme from the theme developer using the link provided in the notice, or
Delete: if you choose not to purchase the theme, then you must remove it from your theme library.
If you require any assistance with buying the theme, please contact the theme developer directly at support@pixelunion.net. If you require any assistance removing the theme, please contact Shopify support.
If you delete the theme, reply directly to this email to let us know. If you purchase the theme, we require the theme developer to confirm.

For those who read the response: This in every way incorrect.
Our custom code is not slowing down our theme. That is not the issue and our correspondance have been on the same ticket all alone, which has been replied by us continuously. The app has been of no use, please do not disregard your responsibility by making it seem the fault us on us.
Downloaded the app to carry over some customs codes (page speed improvements only). The updated theme version didn't even carry over our photos and contacted support.
After weeks of requesting updates, finally they reported the issue was fixed and all possible content was carried over.
What they did not mention (or may not have checked) was the fact that the updated theme was not functional, even the cart did not work and you could not place an order along with other major errors.
I was OK to waive the custom codes and just proceed with a standard carry over, but their solution was to hire Storetasker.
I am so disappointed and frustrated of having to wait weeks and finally be referred to a more expensive solution. I can't even proceed with the standard theme unless I hire Storetasker. In addition our Google Traffic is down by almost 50%!
As soon as possible we will migrate to a different theme by a different developer.
If I could I would give 0 starts!

Garbage, everytime I update the theme is wrecks the customisations. Takes days to figure out, even though I have ticked the ,aintain theme customisations.
Deffo not worth paying monthly for, am actively looking for another theme.
Now i can't even get the theme updater to work. Shopify are trying to dig me out of the mess caused by out of the sandbox!

This app is very useful for upgrades and backups. I had a problem with the backup section of the app and Corey from Out of the Sandbox got the issue addressed right away. OOTS' support has always come through for me.

This app is a lifesaver, it’s saved me hundreds as I normally have to pay someone to bring over my changes and this can take days. I had a small issue and Leo sorted it the same day and even helped me research something which he really didn’t have to.

The app updates the themes okay, but there is so little transparency or customer input on what the theme updates are going to be. There's no way to upvote features or make suggestions. And the customer service just sucks. If you ask for help with a problem, like the fact that their theme doesn't support Google Review Rich Snippets, they tell you to hire a custom coder to fix their theme. A suggestion box would be so much more gratifying. I don't always need an instant fix, but I'd like to know what kind of improvements they want to make in the future.
