Shopify Translate & Adapt

Good enough for me, but a final review of a language professional is very much appreciated, if not necessary. Thank you.

Very easy to use! But would love to be able to search for specific products to translate first. :)

J'ai installé cette API il y a seulement 1 mois pour traduire entièrement mon site du français à l'anglais et la traduction est de tellement bonne qualité qu'elle m'a apporté du trafic sur mes pages de blog en anglais. On peut aisément apporter des modifications manuelles ; la version anglaise de mon site n'est pas tout à fait la même que la version française, je peux adapter les textes et les photos en fonction de ma clientèle (idéal pour l'A/B testing). Je n'ai pas testé au delà de la traduction d'une seule langue, je pense que cela viendra plus tard, mais pour la traduction en anglais, je recommande vivement cette application.

Works super well! Would be nice to be able to create sitewide translation to make that a term is translated the same way across all pages.

I like the translator, it really works good!

Me and my team wanted to use this app to translate our shop from english into german. Already the automatic translation of the general theme content and system - in particular the checkout is mostly useless. The app states that these general parts of the Shopify system are "professionally translated" which is a joke, because not even the word checkout is translated into german language - this is one of the most important words and you dont get it correctly translated so that the general german population can understand it? Come on Shopify! As a billion dollar company you can do better!
... Now to the worst part: We took the time to fully translate all the website resources ourselves "manually". After a few days we were close to finishing the translation of all the themes and gerneral website resources like the checkout system. We saved our progress along the way countless times, at least the app is constantly reminding you of that... BUT one morning ALL THE TRANSLATIONS WERE GONE! We have no clue how every translation we did during the last few days just vanished- nobody did anything! The night before everything was there and almost ready to be launched... the next day not a single translation we did the days before was available anymore... This app is competely unusable and a serious risk for anyone who wants to run a shopify shop in multiple languages. If I could give 0 stars, I would do so.
