Insgesamt ist die Firma Trusted Shops nicht mehr sehr zeitgemäß. Die Leistungen sind zu teuer und außerdem die Vertragslaufzeiten zu lange. Ich habe sie nur eingesetze weil sie noch wegen der Bekanntheit der Marke profitieren bei der älteren Generation.

After working with Trusted Shops for nearly a decade, I feel compelled to share a deeply disappointing experience — especially for other small businesses considering their service.
First, their **app performance for Shopify and WooCommerce is far from adequate**. The integrations are clunky, slow, and often unreliable. In contrast to other review platforms that offer smooth plug-and-play solutions, Trusted Shops feels outdated and poorly supported for modern e-commerce platforms. It often creates friction in customer journeys rather than adding value.
However, the **biggest frustration lies in their cancellation policy**, which I would honestly describe as **abusive**. Despite giving notice and clearly stating that we no longer wish to continue, we are being forced to pay for a **full additional year of service**, amounting to nearly **1.000€**, for a tool we are no longer using or benefitting from. There was no flexibility, no reasonable discussion, and no understanding — just strict enforcement of a clause buried in a lengthy contract.
After 10 years of loyalty, we expected a fairer and more respectful offboarding experience. Instead, we’re left with the feeling of being penalised for leaving — which speaks volumes about how the company values long-term clients.
There are now many more agile, user-friendly and customer-centric alternatives on the market. My advice? **Read the small print very carefully**, and think twice before committing.

Thank you for your feedback and for being a Trusted Shops client since 2019. We regret that your offboarding experience did not meet your expectations.
To clarify: our cancellation deadlines are clearly outlined in the contract and reminder emails. In your case, the notice period was unfortunately missed. Despite your later claims, no valid proof of a timely cancellation was provided. As a result, the contract was extended according to the agreed terms.
We understand that this outcome can be frustrating, especially when business circumstances are difficult. At the same time, fairness means applying the same rules to all clients in a consistent and transparent way.
Regarding the product itself, we continue to improve our integrations for Shopify, WooCommerce and other platforms. Thousands of merchants rely on them daily and see strong results.

Je déconseille vivement cette société. Malgré mon souhait de résilier, car je n'utilise plus leurs services depuis plus d'un an, j'ai été confronté à des prélèvements de 100€ par mois, soit 1200€ par an, et ce, sous prétexte d'un engagement d'un an. Leurs conditions de vente sont obsolètes et ne correspondent plus du tout à la réalité des utilisateurs actuels, notamment ceux utilisant des plateformes comme Shopify. Leur politique commerciale est déconnectée des attentes des clients d’aujourd’hui. Si vous cherchez un service fiable et adapté à vos besoins, passez votre chemin et allez voir ailleurs.

It is a very costly solution, which unfairly locks you into a contract that automatically renews with 3 months' notice, which is not written in the signed contract but very briefly mentioned in their general conditions. Also, no notification or reminder is sent before the renewal deadline, which doesn't comply with German law.
Leider eine sehr Nutzerunfreundliche App. Wir zahlen, obwohl wir NULL von eurem Service profieren. Wirklich extrem schlechter Service
