Nancy helped me get the search pop up suggestion window in the correct position and the team is always so helpful with questions I have about the app. I love this app because there are also very insightful analytics and it helps us understand what products are doing well and what we can improve on for the overall UX.

This app have the cleanest UI among the apps we researched. When choosing an app, we prioritized the four things in our search:

1. Clean UI
Among the filter apps we researched, this app has the cleanest filter menu.
2. Merged color option
This is the most important part for us. We have a wide range of colors for each product, so we didn't want all the colors to be displayed in the filter. However, this app offers a merged color feature, allowing us to select 10 colors as reference points and categorize all our colors. The only downside is that not all listings are displayed in color, so if there are multiple colors like Black and Black denim, only one color is chosen to be displayed for each product, which is disappointing.
3. Customizing filter menu
We wanted to customize menus that weren't provided before. Moreover, we wanted these menus to be implemented with checkboxes like other menus, so users could easily click to view them. We requested customer service to solve this issue with our store-specific coding.
4. Friendly customer service
Initially, it was difficult to get in touch, but we continued to contact them via email, messages, etc., and they made efforts to address the issues we encountered. We are grateful for their efforts to provide answers and resolve issues to the best of their ability. Thank you very much.

Easy to use and didn't slow down the website.
With a large inventory we was worried that adding a 3rd party filter would slow down the website, but has worked well.

We like their metafield options for filtering.

In past year I have asked many customization with support team and they did as per requirement. This year I asked one more thing with them to add an additional metafield in search suggestion and they did in hardly 10 minutes. I am really happy with the app and support team

I am updating my October 2023 review in May 2024, with further positive feedback (as can't submit multiple reviews).

Following on from the previous brilliant work by the team last October 2023, helping us to stylize the collection /filter pages (we have a lot of info to display), we'd found that that the format wasn't working well for mobile users. I sent the team a mock-up diagram of how I would like the content to display, including the need to embed information pulled from external apps/plugins. Literally 24 hours later, the team had rendered the changes, fixed the formatting, fully tested and deployed working. WOW!!

We are in start-up mode and despite offering to pay towards development fees, the team did the work free of charge - pro-bono to help get us up and running.

I have spent much time researching different Shopify filter and search options - this solution stands head and shoulders above others on flexibility, performance, features, metafield use, price and just brilliant support.

Businesses at our stage of growth depend on suppliers being flexible and responsive and we will look to keep good relationships with the team as we grow and continue to utilise their apps and services wherever possible. A big thank you! :) :) :)

ORIGINAL REVIEW - October 2023:-
If I could rate this developer 10 stars versus 5, I would. If you are working with sorting and filtering collections based on custom metafields - look no further, this is the app to go for. Here's why.....

Firsty, the App is the only one that makes sorting collections by custom metafield not only possible, but intuitive to set up and immediately working, including the possibility to override front-end default collection sort settings and set the order of default sort priorities. Wow.

Then you get into the business of these filtering apps all rendering their own collection-product template, which overrides your installed collection template and any customisations you've done in Liquid. Here's the 10 stars bit - firstly the filter template looks native without having to make a bunch of additional custom settings (believe me I've tried several other apps where this was a nightmare to get things looking "normal"). Secondly, the developers went out their way to create a Javascript render of my liquid customisations - which included a table rendering custom metafields, so the collection template looks exactly the way I developed it in Liquid. And all sorted in 24hrs.

And another major point - the filters look great out the box, and have a nice set of customisation features including colouration of the ranges and can handle custom metafields. Just all-'round brilliant product and support. Thank you.

I have been using the SB app for a good while now and it has been amazing. It has allowed me to make specific metadata edits and allow people to search for hidden elements without them showing on each product page. I have also loved the analytics it pulls from search queries, as it lets us know what customers are looking for and what if there are things we should consider producing etc. The customization on collections has been huge for us too. We needed the variants to show up as single products and have a somewhat custom title which the team was more than able to help with. Every time I need assistance the support is amazing. The app has made our website clearly advanced in terms of UI/UX. Love it!

It's a really good app, very intuitive and the support is truly great. They've been available every time I needed them, and the app's functionality does exactly what I was looking for. I spent a long time searching for something that could do what I needed, and this app has given me just that and more. Highly recommended.

I would absolutely recommend this app to others. I installed the app and after working out the filters I am so happy with it. I love the dashboard and being able to follow all the analytics of my filters. ALSO the app wasn't compatible with my theme straight away so it change one or two things. I contacted the team and within 24 hours they had adapted the app to be compatible with my theme and now it is amazing! Honestly amazing customer service. Strongly recommend.
