We were experiencing a high volume of customers having issues with their mobile and Ipad purchases because of a Chrome update preventing changes in qtys and not adding upsells.

Jacinda from UpCart saved the day! I had spent days trying figure out how to combine Buy X, Get Y (Gift with Purchase / Reward Spend Thresholds) with subscriptions and also allow product-level discounts to apply to the subscriptions too. The solution was complex but the gist is to not use Buy X, Get Y in Shopify, but rather make a 100% off product discount with a minimum QTY of 1, make that product hidden from your store, then use UpCart to add the product to your cart. Works perfectly in all scenarios!

It is an awesome app. Easily customizable, and has all the different modules I need. It even has subscription upsell modules. We were able to configure the cart drawer exactly how we wanted to and customize it to our brands colors and aesthetic.

Great app, really improves my CVR and AOV, very helpful staff who are incredibly responsive and effective. I have used upcart on multiple stores and there has yet to be an issue they could not fix!
I had originally written a 1-star review because something on my invoice did not add up and I thought UpCart was charging a percentage of my sales.
Their team reached out to me and patiently explained to me their pricing model and how that works. They clarified all of my doubts and it's clear that they really care about their product and having happy customers.
Because of that experience, I'm amending my review to 4 stars. I don't give 5 stars, because I still don't understand why this tool can't be a one-time subscription model regardless of how many orders I have on my shop.
However, if you're looking for a nice cart drawer solution, and don't mind their pricing model, this tool has been a breeze to install and use!

With that in mind, allow me to explain why UpCart's pricing is structured this way. UpCart isn't just an upselling app, and this is why we don't charge on a per-upsell basis.
UpCart's main value is giving your customers a convenient, always accessible, and easy way to manage their cart while browsing your store. Normally they'd have to load a whole new page (.../cart) to do so, which adds friction to the transaction and may increase churn.
The best way to judge UpCart's impact is by looking at the number of orders generated, since every order interacts with UpCart and gets value from it.
I completely understand the frustration around the pricing, I recommend continuing the conversation with our support team (clicking "I need more help" on the bot will redirect the conversation to our team) so we can help improve your experience with the app.
