I have tested all the Shopify chat bots and VanChat has stood up to the challenge. From the moment I clicked activate on site it had an understanding of my products. Also, I am even a cannabis/hemp site and the bot helped guide actual product knowledge beyond what the products themselves said. It is extremely useful even for search since it does understand color and details of the products. Also, the chat support has been responsive and helpful. I recommend this tool to all users looking for a reliable chatbot that understands the products on the site, site content and policies that doesn't show any hallucinations. I've tested it with all different ways to mess it up and at worst it tells me to reach out to customer support, but doesn't try to give information when it doesn't have the answer or the customer asks irrelevant questions. Give it a try, you've got a free trial that is enough time period to truly test it out.

My site is just about to go fully live and think the proactive sales component will be very helpful, but just the cost of this alone compared to a real support agent is a win. Especially since most support agents aren't as much of an expert as this bot in my industry.

Using the app on two separate sites, one with thousands of products and the other a small site, the app is perfect for both, the support is very high level, after trying 5-6 different tools, this is the only tool I felt I could trust.

I have tried many chat box apps and deleted them all as they were an embarrassment. The way they chatted with customers, giving false information and generally being useless.

Not this one! It's amazing. Trained it on our website, our FAQs, all our articles and interactions on HubSpot over the past few years. It absorbed the lot.

I tested it quite lot by trying to trick it into being a standard GPT, asking it to tell jokes, tried to trap it into giving false answers (and potentially dangerous answers - we sell supplements) and it didn't fall for any of it.

Installed it, within an hour it had already sold a product to a customer who would have likely just left. We removed our human-operated chat box years ago, as it was just too time-consuming. Imagine all the sales we would have lost - not anymore! : )
