Couldn't give this app or Justin a high enough review! Bulk editing is quick and Justin is Great! TY
Took two lots of money for my stores but I only upgraded one. Wouldn't even work the next day. Took loads of products off my etsy and shopify. Awful and rude customer service. Avoid! There is better out there
Unfortunately, this review is entirely false and misleading. To clarify, the user received a free one-week trial for both shops connected to Vela. Afterward, they upgraded both shops to Vela Plus and were charged $10 each, as expected and clearly stated. They then canceled both shops, requested refunds, and yet expected to retain access. While there was no legitimate reason for a refund, we still issued a full refund for both shops. Despite this, the user chose to post a negative review.
Vela has more functions and is easier to use than other apps that have ridiculously high monthly fees. Definitely going to keep using this for editing (and more) from now on since it saves me time and money big time.
Let me just say that this app has completely saved my life with both Etsy and Shopify. No other app does what this app can do. I save HOURS of my time using this app. The customer service is unmatchable, they are super helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!

I found Vela for Shopify by "accident". I had just opened an Etsy store, incorporated Vela and discovered how easy, accurate and speedy it is. I then noticed a setting to import my Shopify store! BAM! My go to app.
AND IT'S FREE!!
This is the WORST app I have EVER come across! Why Shopify would allow apps of this poor calibre on their platform is beyond my understanding! This app removed ALL product images and and when using this app for bulk pricing edits, it messed my entire store! It has taken me over TWO Months to try and get my prices corrected and to recover over 8000+ Products! MY SUGGESTION TO ANYONE WANTING TO USE THIS APP IS STAY FAR AWAY!! ALL THIS APP IS GOOD FOR IS TO CREATE WEEKS OF EXTRA WORK AND BACKTRACKING ON YOUR STORE'S PRODUCTS!! I WILL ALSO BE PASSING THIS EXPERIENCE ON TO SHOPIFY AND REQUEST THAT THEY REMOVE THIS APP FROM THEIR PLATFORM AS THIS IS NOT WHAT MERCHANTS NEED!
The app is decent. It makes bulk editing products really easy but I can only recommend using it if you have a small inventory because if you have a larger inventory you have to spend so much time waiting for products to load that it really kind of defeats the purpose
2 étoiles car gratuite, mais l'appli fonctionne mal, nombreux bugs, il faut refaire les manip plusieurs fois pour que les mises à jours s'appliqent sur plusieurs produits (donc si on ne vérifie pas, problèmes ensuite!). côté sav vous pouvez oubliez.
I have been using this app for quite some time now. It is generally good when the product count is low but as the product count increases the "Refresh Shop" gives wrong product count every now and then and there is no way to know what is going on. According to support, "as long as the number is higher in Vela, it's all good". There is no export utility. So there is no way for me to know why the number is higher / lower in Vela. Update: I had a screenshare with Justin and saw that All (in Shopify) and Active (in Vela) is the same. However, I would like to include the issue I faced with bulk updating description which added a lot of HTML code I didn't add and messed up my descriptions. I had to manually update a ton of products. Be careful with updating descriptions. There was also issue with changing POD for one of my products. Although I deleted the previous one, Vela didn't and the count didn't match. I'm leaving the three stars for now because I think the app has kinks that need to be worked out especially because it is a bulk update app. It can be very useful when everything is perfect but can be really problematic if things don't work. So far, price and tags have worked out really well for me.
So far so good. Saved me several hours of time with bulk editing. Features finding and replacing text, adding before/after, filtering, ect. Still being developed but a solid tool to use now. Dev is responsive and well spoken. There is some lag with it right now, but it's on his to do list. Good free solution. I look forward to seeing this app evolve.
