Helpful Product Reviews App

After much searching we have settled on Helpful Product Reviews by HelpfulCrowd as our review engine on peachandpineapple.co.uk. The app looks good on the page and works well. There is a manual step where you have to embed some code yourself if you want to show the review for each product on the collection page, which had I put in the wrong place, but after contacting support Yusuf quickly resolved the issue and also added the correct widget to the product page for me as I had chosen the wrong one. So far, so brilliant. Thanks HelpfulCrowd. 5 stars!

We've been with helpful crowd reviews app for 4 years now. The customer service is awesome! Yusuf helped us with the migration from WIX to Shopify and we were able to preserve all our reviews. He's always quick to respond and is very knowledgeable about their app. The app has all the features you could ask for and is super easy to use. We like their clean design and user-friendly layout. They added more features this year which includes a review slider on the homepage. We've continued with their basic plan and it has everything we need for way cheaper than other review apps. Don't waste your time looking elsewhere, go with Helpful Crowd!

The single page for reviews is looking great and has better load times than competitors.
I'd prefer a review tool that doesn't require the data to be loaded from external servers, but Shopify doesn't want this built in to its system. Even with the difficulties of having the data stored off Shopify's servers, it still looks beautiful (among the best of all review tools available) and the subscription options are best for my website's uses.

I had a quick question about my reviews summary widget, it was not displaying any reviews upon clicking the link. Anna got back to me within the hour and informed me that for the reviews summary widget to work properly I needed to also add the reviews tab. When the link to read reviews is clicked in the reviews summary widget the screen automatically scrolls down to the reviews tab area. I'm extremely happy with the customer service from Anna and the app itself. I really appreciate that I can collect customer content such as photos and videos with breaking the bank. Moreover, I love the ability to customize colors to match my branding. The Porter House Co., is a sustainable home decor and housewares shop so it's very important to us that we have great design on our website at https://theporterhouse.co. The HelpfulCrowd app helps us to achieve that while creating trust among new customers looking to shop for vintage and sustainable home decor.

We used Helpful Crowd for over 3 years and never EVER had an issue. It grew with us and the support has been terrific! We are only leaving it because we outgrew what Shopify could do for us and the platform is Shopify specific only. If it ever comes available where we are moving, we will work with Helpful Crowd again. Yusef provided outstanding support to get us ready for our move. Thank you Yusef!
