I went through a few different apps in Shopify before trying Weglot, and it has been a game changer now that I found this! There are a lot of useful features and it's easy to use, with very fair pricing. I also had a few questions for their customer support, and they are top notch as well. It's always good knowing you have someone reliable to reach out to if needed. Overall, great app and great experience so far, I highly recommend Weglot.
bad application, overpriced and once you hit over 1 million words, they charge you over 2000.00$ per year. On top of that, I removed the app. almost 2 years ago and still have tags and scripts that mess up my URLs and redirect to 404 dead links. Noone had the decency of reaching out to us to tell us how to uninstall the app correctly and at least mention that if you do not delete the app. many bugs will occur if USA customers log in as their IP is redirected to www.domain.com/en-us/en-us/en/us/en-us and cannot be removed so, you get broken links and we have dropped 50% of our sales becomes of them plus because of their unprofessionalism, we never knew that the site was broken.

Regarding the code remaining in your admin, please be aware that once the application is uninstalled, an email has been sent to your account's referral email address telling you how to completely uninstall Weglot from your environment. I've sent you in a separate email an example of such an email.
Until recently, Shopify gives us the possibility to automatically delete the code of our application during an uninstallation, and we have already made the necessary changes within our plugin.
Would you like me to personally investigate your admin to make sure that there is no more Weglot-related code?

About the broken URLs, I don't see any active projects in your account anymore, this means that no integration seems to be active and therefore the remaining code in your admin should not have any impact on your URLs. I decided to update my negative review after the negative experience i had with one of Weglot support member. The matter was addressed by the management who reach out to me within 24h in friendly polite way, My technical problem (excluding content from being auto translate) still exist but I hope Weglot will be able to solve it.
So far so good! Easy app to install and use. Used it to have our english site translated to greek language (most sections manually). Love the visual editor, although not everything can be translated (e.g. cart and payment pages etc.). With little customizations in the Shopify language section, you can have a nice overall solution. Already used customer support -contacted by Guillaume- and I am quite pleased from the quick response and solution to my problems. Recommended.
Awesome app, I sent them a message earlier today concerning a bug and the support immediately replied positively to my request and fixed the issue. Recommended !
We are selling in Europe and a multilingual store is essential in the different Euro countries. We switched from another app to Weglot and never regretted it. It is easy to handle, even the automatic translations are of a high quality. After the installation of the app, text of other apps was not translated but after contacting support, John got it done in 15 minutes: quick, professional efficient plus helpful advice. Thanks guys. Definitely a 5 star recommendation.
