It took their support team 12 days and several exchanges including a call with a sales rep to give my question a final answer.
Their free plan is extremely limited, it imports random shipments and doesn't let you test anything properly. Yet they expect you to pay 99$ to use an app you weren't able to test.
We're going to use Aftership, who have fast support and a lot of features.

Wonderment is now our go-to Shopify app, an absolute essential for any store. Thousands of shipments later, and we've yet to receive a single customer support ticket for order updates, thanks to Wonderment's proactive triggers.

A really great way to provide transparency to customers while also reducing the amount of emails people send asking "where's my order??" Julie in particular was helpful in getting our theme looking great and the team is quite responsive.
