The reconciling works well, however payments are sent to Xero twice, which is not helpful - and they then tell you that it's a Xero fault, which is not - because it's only started happening since using this app! Not helpful at all! We are dealing with Mo...
Will be deleting bold app after this surprise fee introduction. I don't understand why it makes sense to pay more than the Shopify OR Xero apps themselves simply to transfer data from one to the other. I would expect Bold will lose a lot of customers with this move.
UPDATE - I have talked to the Bold team, and they have no explanation for the pricing structure they are introducing. This is the biggest price gouge I've ever experienced as a Shopify customer. The pricing structures are based on number of orders exported, so it is very clearly an effort to take advantage of companies with more revenue. The pricing structure is not related to the service provided at all. This is a very bad business practice.
I will still be deleting this app as soon as I find a workaround. I notice their review rating has plummeted since the new pricing was introduced. I'm not surprised.
Everything stopped and now we have to pay crazy fees... they didn't even advise to let us know. Plus it doesn't work very well
This App is horrific. Complete waste of time and money. It used to be free and good - it's now expensive and awful. My book keeper is spending days trying to untangle your mess.
UPDATE - USE AN ALTERNATIVE TO SHOPIFY AND XERO IF YOU CAN. Had this for a while... got it when it was free from Shopify. Well, Shopify sold it to Bold and today I received an email where they had the gall to say there would a 'small' fee for using the app moving forward. 'Small' turns out to be approx. $100 AUD per month. It's just another charge on top of Shopify's many app charges. So, now I'm paying for Shopify, the 'integration app' between Shopify and Xero AND Xero itself. Costs about $500 AUD per month just for these three things. BUYER BEWARE WITH SHOPIFY. IT IS GETTING VERY PRICEY TO USE ALL THE APPS YOU NEED. I'm sure there is a better solution.

I love it when it's working! Definitely worth having. Would be great if they could fix the disconnection issues as this creates a bit of havoc for us. Basically, everything is working fine but about once a month Shopify and Xero disconnect and it takes days to get it connected again. Sometimes this is easy... sometimes you have to go to multiple places to try and get someone to give you a straight answer on how to fix it. As most of you know, when you're a business owner, having to chase these things is a real pain.
This App doesn't do what it says it does, it will cost you far too much money, and loads of time to make it work. The staff support is arrogant and unhelpful, slow in replying. Stay away.
Woefully bad app that just breaks and cannot be fixed. Non-existant customer service. Avoid like the plague.
Since Bold acquired this app it didn’t take them long to start charging for it which until now has always been free. It is obvious from their new pricing plans that they’ve had plenty time to analysis everyone’s data to come up with a pathetic free plan of only 30 transaction, forcing most to move over to the paid tier. I’ve never been a fan of any of Bold’s bug ridden apps and this recent change just gets my back up even more. Prior to Bold acquiring this app it worked like clockwork, when they took over it was one bug after another so NO, they haven’t been working effortlessly to fix the bugs that were there as per the email they sent me, instead they have been fixing all the bugs they created!
An easy piece of software integration that was free and now they are trying to charge an absorbent price. This is not worth nearly as much as Xero or Shopify, yet they charge the same. Simple Xero and Quickbooks integration should be a free app by Shopify.
Very bad service. Support team is not giving any reply after 3 days. nothing is working there. worst app
