Terrible app. Does not sync customer date or product data or stock. Formats VAT incorrectly on what it does sync. I expect much better from Xero.
0 support, charges for UK customers which makes zero sense. Shows you how old and stubborn this company is, avoid.
zero support. have raised tickets and there has been no answer.
Easy to set up. No major issues, however could be more user friendly, find it difficult to navigate.
The app works fine. The monthly fee came as a surprise as other integrations are free on Xero. Didn't know about this when we signed up to Xero.
Absolutely useless app. Does not create invoices for each shopify sale so its left me having to do these manually. Do not recommend at all.
Unfortunately learned the hard way app doesnt tell you its not generating invoices (didnt realise i was on a plan that maxed out at 20 per month).
Doesnt make third party (paypal / afterpay) payments easy to reconcile. Also doesnt cope with paypal refunds.
Dont think this should cost Aus users, its a standard offering by quickbooks. Will look to move away from Xero shopify integration as i think others exist.
Still charged me for almost a year after using. Absolute scam. App does not work. As you will see xero thinks they can apply there normal no contact, no one available customer service model into a shopify environment. Xero is not an ecommerce friendly company

Whilst I love Xero for my accounts, how it integrates with Shopify leaves much to be desired.
If you use multiple currencies and have PayPal set up as one of your payment gateways, I would be cautious about using the Shopify Integration App for Xero. In simple terms, it doesn't work. It creates so much more work. And has left me having to deal with far-reaching issues.
Xero customer service is okay, they try to help, but their suggestions make using the integration app a waste of time and money.
I have been using the integration app for a year, and the initial setup was a minefield. Just, when I'd got my accounts in order, the multiple currencies issue, raised its ugly head. Before using the Xero integration, I was using Carry the One, I'm wishing now I could switch back, but first I need to get my accounts in order before my end-of-year audit.
Disappointed this app had so much promise :(

Thank you for your response. I have been talking to support, but this was different from their response to my enquiry. It would be good to have a help page for this situation, as I know I won't be the only one struggling to reconcile multi-currency PayPal feeds.
Additionally, I think it prudent to include in your app description want it can and more importantly want it can't do. It would save people a lot of time.
