Working with Convermax has been a game changer for our business. The features are great though it is the competence of the team that has really stood out to us. It is an amazing app. But unfortunately they charge an excessively high setup fee. Considering that the monthly value is already considerable.

You should not charge an installation fee. I don't think it's very difficult for you. You could have more clients paying their monthly fee.

Not all markets would be able to pay $400 for an installation. There are shopify experts but it is not the same as installing the app developer.

I wrote an email to get more information about what the installation cost includes but I didn't get enough response. They told me that they were too busy to attend to my inquiries.
