4.27.26 I have consistently given Yotpo a 1 star review. Recently I did so again. However, a Ralph B. from Yotpo contacted me and has greatly assisted me in getting all my issues resolved - hopefully on a long-term basis. He offered to implement the changes and when I declined and said I would implement them myself, he gave me very detailed instructions on how to do so. He timely and consistently responded to my questions. At this point, I have resolved all my known issues and am satisfied. I greatly appreciate his assistance so I have changed my rating. Assuming the widgets I am using work as intended, going forward, I will certainly be satisfied.
I have at least 6 support cases open on YOTPO. I have a lot more than 6 issues but I'm being prevented from opening any other support cases. Why? Because 1. They have no support and 2. Nothing ever works the way it is supposed to or consistently. The reviews for top selling products have disappeared completely or the stars next to the product name do not show up at all even though the reviews show up below the product description. This is a REVIEW app and yet the very foundational features do not work or work inconsistently. How impressed should people be with this garbage? How long should I wait for support? I think if an app is expecting to be paid, it should respond to support requests in 24 hours. Yotpo responds weeks later, if at all. One would have to go to YOTPO university to actually fix all the things that is wrong with this app. It apparently expects customers to spend hours to fix these things with lousy and unclear directions. For over a year, there's a button on my main page that says I should click it to install a newer widget. I've attempted to install the newer widget at least 50 times with no result. This app is an absolute nightmare. No support. Nothing ever stays - constant updates that don't transfer. Yet they will contact you day after day trying to get you to upgrade. Why would anyone upgrade when the current version doesn't work? DO NOT CHOOSE THIS REVIEW APP. You will regret it.
UPDATED 6 Months Later: If I could give YOTPO MINUS 100 Stars for customer service I would. There is no customer service. In fact, there seems to be a definite pattern here. You open a support request and they then close it so that SHOPIFY thinks it's been resolved when in fact, they have done absolutely nothing. Even if they commit to doing something, they don't follow through. You open another one and the same thing happens. It's absolutely unbelievable.
This App should be immediately removed from SHOPIFY. And, Shopify should care a lot more about this than it appears they do. Store owners should not be subjected to this non-support. It's hard to even call it nonsupport since they actively work against everything you do which has a negative impact on your store and business. This needs to be investigated.
6 Months ago-I have now made 15 support requests with no help from this app. It should not be on Shopify. It needs to be removed. DO NOT use this app as you will have NOTHING but problems with no support whatsoever.

The app works good now that I had a support staff, Reymon help me for 90 minutes. The app is glitchy on Chrome so I had to switch to Safari, but then it worked good. Reymon was extremely helpful, patient, knowledgable and easy to work with. Would recommend working with Reymon again.
Thank you for your feedback. Glitches on Chrome is indeed annoying and we are working on a permanent fix for this issue. For now, clearing your browser's cache will fix this issue.

Today, when we needed help and support, we connected immediately with Arven S. who was absolutely diligent and wonderful. I have had experience in the past where it took forever to connect with a representative, and when we did connect, Yotpo was not at all able to offer the support we needed (the Yotpo subscription options fell off after we upgraded the theme for our website and no one at Yotpo was able to help us with this.). It was super disappointing. Our website hasn't been able to offer subscriptions because of this. I've never forgotten that. Today, my interaction with Arven was stellar. Thank you so much for this!! I wish Yotpo could offer this level of support more consistently. We would be more loyal to Yotpo.
I had some trouble getting my Shopify SEO Page (Reviews tab page) to work after a recent Shopify theme update. I contacted customer support via the admin settings page in Yotpo and they helped me immediately! I am so very grateful to Jeorge Kenneth V for the support. They even added a carousel of reviews to my homepage after I asked for more advice! If you are having any troubles, I highly recommend their great customer service. Thank you!
P.S. I'd recommend a few updates to their help page so that "SEO page" updates are clarified as a separate issue from how to enable a "Product Reviews Widget."

When uploading a review, it kept failing and kept getting errors.
I contacted customer service and got a quick response. Reymon Alvero gave me a relatively complex review template and helped me fill it out and upload it.
This is a good customer service team, but I think it would be more convenient for me to upload it myself if there were no errors, otherwise I would need to contact customer service every time.

We had a feature installed by John G., a growth support engineer from Yotpo's team. Despite their no-reply email system that impedes on the exchange of information, John was able to pick up our enquiry across multiple tickets and solve our issue.
We're a French brand and the application is mainly in English, so we're not giving it 5 stars because we can't make the most of our time on this application. However, the application is very good, easy to use in operational terms and the customer support team is very relevant and efficient in its responses. That's why we like this application despite the language barrier, because we get answers easily with the online chat.
