Like many persons I had an issue with adding the review star and widget to my website. Don't worry it's not difficult to do.
With the help of Ruzsel J.N, I was able to knock them out in good time (adding the review stars to my product and collection pages as well as the review widgets). He was friendly, helpful and polite.
The app is user friendly with helpful articles that makes things better and the team is responsive and willing to help.
I would recommend that they create a way for us to send direct links where shoppers can submit their reviews, because I don't get to capture some emails at pop-up shops. Let me know if your thoughts.

We're switching from Okendo to Yotpo for our site and are starting with the Growth plan. It's got great features though the best ones like advanced CSS and Klaviyo Integration. My only critique is the lack of customization of the default emails customers get for asking for a review, confirming their email, and etc if you are just on the first paid plan.
It's five stars because I've received great customer support from Ronel R. a few times, but also Warly S. and John G. who were helpful, professional, and super friendly! This is a great app so far.

I’ve been relying on Yotpo as the review platform for my small business for over a decade. I recently switched my online store over to Shopify. One of the things keeping me from doing that was fear of loosing all the reviews I’ve collected over the years. Have no fear - Ronel from Yotpo support walked me through the process of exporting my old reviews, updating the identifiers for the new site (if you have a lot of products an ID export app will help to get a list of the Shopify product IDs which the base backend hides for some reason), and then imported them to the new site for me. The app works flawlessly (I’m using Dawn theme). I did need to edit theme code a bit to get the widgets where I wanted them in the site but Yotpo has clear help guides on how to do so.

Yotpo was recommended by another shopify brand I'm familiar with, and so I decided to try them out. Not everything has been easy to set up without support, so I've had to reach out a few times, and definitely was able to get everything I needed through the chat function. Having access to timely customer support is super useful!
So this support chat relieved the triple decker stress sandwich I created for myself unknowingly. When I reached out to support via the live chat, and JOHN G, stepped in to assist; he understood what the mistake was I made but assured me he could help. And then in my opinion, put on his Yotpo cape and began to get to the bottom of what needed to happen. He explained it to me but I was confused and didn't hesitate to let him know and he graciously offered to assist and stuck with me until the task was correctly and successfully completed.
I relaunched my site on a new platform and it’s known that reviews are a must have for selling online so JOHN G. being able to get those product reviews onto the new site for me “added years onto to my life” lol, as I told JOHN as much while he was assisting me.
So this twofold moment for me, I offer up for Yotpo to use in future marketing campaigns for the platform; and that is, what a day I choose to give the Yotpo app a try when I had my woo commerce site because I’ve changed platforms but I’m still able to get use of the reviews for the products that received them and even when I could have proverbially have “shot myself in the foot” trying to get the reviews from old site to the new one, the Yotpo support can help turn bad misstep into a good look; because they know they’re product.
