Do NOT use zendesk for website chat, sms and phone. The software interface is not user friendly and looks like it was designed 10 years ago and never updated. We spent multiple hours trying to get it setup as there was very little help/tutorials available.
Voip calls have significant lag when answering the call and overall call quality is very low.
You cannot send an sms to customers in any simple way.
There is no mobile app for answering calls so EVERY phone call must be answered at your desktop.
When I requested cancelling today they screenshot the contract saying I have to give them 30 days so will bill me for another month.
Ironically their website support is slow to respond.
We have changed over to Coax app. So much better for about the same cost.
If you are a Shopify store owner, I would recommend giving Zendesk a try. It is a free app to install and use for 14 days, so you can see for yourself if it is a good fit for your store.

I installed it to find dead ends to onboarding, and a reluctant support culture that is evident. There's also a superiority complex, "we're the best!" when it is not. I deleted it after an afternoon of research and trying. Hope you have better luck than I did!
Zendesk claims to provide the "world's best" ticket management system, but it undeniably has the worst customer service in the world. How ironic is that!

La integración de las dos plataformas es ideal. Nos permite ahorrar tiempo de gestión ya que podemos anticipar las preguntas de nuestros clientes y brindar soporte oportuno con la información predispuesta.
I'm a one-person store, and so using an app to consolidate my customer service emails never really crossed my mind. Because it's just me, all of my customer emails were routed to my personal email inbox, but when I would have big campaigns my inbox would get flooded. Using Zendesk, even for just a few weeks, has made a huge difference in responding to customer emails, both behind-the-scenes and for what the customer sees.
One of the things I like about it is that there are apps you can add within Zendesk to show things like Shopify orders from that customers, and even Mailchimp activity. Setup was simple, it connected easily and I was able to add a "Help" button on my Shopify page. I was even able to forward other emails (such as the ones that customers would reply to from a newsletter) so that they all are re-routed to my Zendesk account.
I highly recommend this for everyone with an online store. It's really inexpensive (if you're a small shop, you can get away with the $1/month plan); I opted for the next level ($29/month) to get a few extra features.
We love the Shopify integration with Zendesk. It helps us serve our customers in a timely and accurate way by having access to any prior orders, all in one place. As someone who has not spent a lot of time in the customer service area before, Zendesk made it very easy to learn the platform, access support, and optimize our customer experience.
Zendesk is nice. It's easy to reply to Facebook, Twitter and emails on iPad, iPhone, android device and desktop. And especially cheap for first one year.
