We love this app. It answers more accurately, in most cases, than humans (as long as the info on your site is correct) and works 24/7.
Previously, I was answering chats myself, and only during the limited window of 9-3pm. Customers who tried to reach me outside of that time had their messages forwarded.
That’s one thing that would be nice in a future update. If a customer has an issue, rather than simply sharing our email and phone, the chatbot could possibly take a message and forward it to a queue or our email.
However, I’ve been checking the logs of conversations and the bot has been providing VERY GOOD answers with NONE of the hallucinations of other chatbots. Other chatbots made up facts about our products that were sometimes humorously wrong. ZipChat even seems to have interpreted some images on our site? It might have inferred the information another way, but ZipChat often answers better than I do and I designed all of our products.
If you are jaded from answering the same questions all the time, give ZipChat a shot. Now, please come up with a bot to answer my customer service emails!

This chatbot keeps surprising us everyday.
We were looking to hire 2 persons to reply to customers in live on our website. We would need to install a chatbot app + hire at least 2 persons + constantly train them.
A month later, we found this app and decided to give it a try. We installed the app and without doing anything it, it was already so accurate in its replies!
Then within one day of training the bot through the corrections, it was replying perfectly to customers, improving our conversion rate but also our AOV.
Let us tell you: this app is insane.
If you add something on your website, it will almost instantly learn it. We changed our shipping policy and it directly adjusted its replies.
Customers are delighted, they can go really in depth with the chatbot.
Being able to read all the conversations has taught us so much about what people really need. It's able to answer some tricky questions by reading the product size on your product page for example.
We also had a chat with the CEO, and his experience in running a successful ecom business is the reason why this chatbot is better than the other ones on the store. He knows exactly what customers need, and he is constantly improving the chatbot.
We saw that he took in consideration the last reviews because some things are already done now.

One of the first and best AI chatbots in Shopify that continues to improve day by day. My team spent about a month making edits and training the bot, and now it generates profit. In the past 2-3 weeks, we haven't even needed to monitor the chats, yet the bot still works and makes money!
In Uzbekistan, there are 3 languages that customers use: Uzbek Latin, Uzbek Cyrillic, and Russian. I'm not sure how, but our bot is able to handle all of them. Anyway, it's better to invest $250 in this bot and stay current with new technologies, rather than paying a student $500-700 who might leave the job unexpectedly.
I also had the pleasure of meeting the best CEO of CEOs, Michael. He is a good, supportive, and polite guy who works tirelessly to make his bot the best of the best. Keep up the great work!
