UPDATE April 2025:
This was a phenomenal great tool for many years we used it.
Now they either got sloppy or greedy, as all of a sudden tools are not working anymore, can't activate them and the new dashboard is a shear nightmare without oversight and extremely user unfriendly. All the widgets are now just presented in an endless long scroll down menu, instead of being nicely grouped to their class as in the old dash board.
We can only say: The old programmers had class, the new developers just get fancy without having any concept or clou what business owners need! Big shame.
We downgrade from 5 stars to 2 stars until things are hopefully brought back in order!

UPDATE:
After reaching out to the company, the CEO did not only confirm a major server upgrade of their app platform to prevent outages like experienced in the past months in future, but they also issued a very generous compensation. This is a customer care and service rare to find these days. So we are happy to change our former 2 star to a 5 star rating!

We are long time customers of Zotabox and we really love their large variety of tools, like banners, popups, promo boxes, tabs, etc. BUT: since about one year their back bone became very unstable. This year alone, we lost several times for hours and longer connectivity to their service, unfortunately exactly during peak sales season like Black Friday and Christmas. They host their service on a Cloud server which seems to be not quite reliable. After contacting the developers several times, so far we have not seen any major improvement. The latest incident lasts alreday over 24 hours with no service anymore. If Zotabox service is not majorly improving their availibity we will have to move on to a different app. So sad...

1️⃣ Tool Activation Issue
Due to a recent update in our pricing policy, there’s now a limit on active widgets. That said, our support team has manually raised the limit for your account — so you can now use your tools without any disruption. I have emailed about it yesterday. Everything should work normally now 💪

2️⃣ Navigating the New Dashboard
We hear you — the new layout can take a little getting used to. Here’s a quick guide to help:
- To create a new tool, head to the Dashboard where tools are neatly listed by feature.
- To manage your existing tools, go to My Widget — there you’ll find all the active tools you've created.
Tip: You can also use the search bar at the top to instantly find your tool — no need to scroll endlessly anymore!

We know change isn’t always easy, especially when the previous setup worked so well for you. But many of our longtime users are starting to enjoy the improvements — faster performance, easier access to features, and more consistency across tools.

We truly hope the updated experience will grow on you too. If things feel smoother now, it would mean the world to us if you'd consider updating your review 🙏

I have had this product for a few years.
I do not use the promotional banners often. It seems that every time I do need it, there is a new bug that prevents me from using it. Then, they fix the bug after my need no longer exists. Until the next time....

We are sorry for the inconvenience. You contacted us on Saturday and the bug was fixed by Sunday. Browsers, operating systems and websites have updates that may conflict with our tools (this is normal for all app services). We fix any conflicts in 1 business day. We wish you the best with your online business.

I a pretty good at apps and this was very easy to use, but would not work all the time. I changed the settings so many times to see if that would work, but no change. I have removed it and using another app.
