I used Jilt for about 10 months before cancelling the app to try some other services. After just a month, I'm back with a new appreciation for the service.
Jilt is the only recovery app I've used that does not email customers after they've ordered - which is crucial if you are mailing a coupon code to entice them to return (otherwise, you get a lot of angry emails asking why you didn't offer the coupon BEFORE they ordered -- and we ALL know how easy it is to modify orders in Shopify...;-))
Seriously, though, sometimes when the grass looks greener on the other side of the fence, it's not -- and sometimes it's not even grass.
This app pays for itself every month in order recoveries and has generated thousands of dollars in additional sales.
So far, so good with Jilt - after they made a few modifications to the reporting, it was easier to understand and manage. The WYSIWIG editor can be a little fluky.
Yan was very helpful in resolving issues with our emails, and we've recovered a decent chunk of sales.
Excellent app. Set it up, let it go. Lose fewer orders. Our last stats showed that we reclaimed 12% of the orders that were originally abandoned. That alone had paid for this app many, many, many times over.
Easy to set up and use, good, clear analytics and friendly and helpful support. A great way to remind customers who have left their cart to offer help and remind them to return to complete their purchase.

Definitely a great app if you are having a lot of abandoned apps. I have only had a small number of abandons, so wish there was a smaller cost associated instead of minimum 200 emails/month. Templates are easy to use.
Thanks to Jilt my Shopify store is able to create meaningful connections with prospective customers that otherwise might have been lost opportunities. Jilt has recovered 7% of our abandoned orders to-date, and it has enabled us to get very meaningful information about our customers' preferences and behaviour. We're just getting started with Jilt, and it's already proven its value. This app is a must-have.

Absolutely love this app. I was lucky to be one of the beta testers and it has not only brought us back $100's in sales but has also proved to be a valuable feedback tool to learn why customers were abandoning orders.
It has been an excellent way to reach out and connect with people directly and people who we have connected with who have abandoned the cart have frequently commented on how cool it was that we cared to follow up with them and offer help.
