The product page upsells have never allowed for me to make manual upsells.
Only the automatic product selection works, which doesn't allow for me to pair specific products together for a product page upsell. The automatic upsells don't always make sense to offer, so having the ability
to manually choose products to pair is important.
I have reached out to support several times about this over the past several weeks and get strung along time after time with zero support. No urgency or care given to provide support and I have been using this app for months.

Post-purchase upsells don’t work with Apple Pay, Shop Pay, or Google Pay. It’s unbelievable that an upsell app can’t show upsells to customers using the most common payment methods. And while you’re left guessing which checkout option might actually trigger their widget, AfterSell keeps charging you full price anyway.

I got charge a 54.99 USD usage fee for this app, i do not get any sales from it and not even enable the app, not sure why, asking for a refund now
Absolutely horrible customer service. The app itself does not work for some reasons and it's been two weeks now since their "engineering" team clearly understood the issue and promised to get back to us. The customer support reps give generic answers like ai bots. Will have to change post purchase app once again

It could be a great app — but it has a major oversight that renders it useless for any store that has products with several variants. For products with more than 6 variants, it only shows the variant images for the first 6 variants. So as a user is toggling through variants, the image changes for the first 6 variants, but not for any other variant after the 6th. It's a confusing UX. We used the app for about two weeks and saw a huge spike in user complaints (and a huge decrease in post-purchase revenue from our previous upsell app).

I would LOVE to use the app - BUT the Customer Service is abolutely terrible!
I am currently waiting for 45 Minutes for a "Team to Join" - BFCM is right around the corner and i have no time.
Your tool can be as good as you want with this kind of service.

Please refund my money. This app charges customer twice every time. People started to advise their Bank it's a fraudulent. Not recommended. Please refund.

In regards to having the customer charged twice... It sounds like your customers may be getting offered the same product they've already purchased.
This may cause confusion, causing the customer to believe you're offering a discount on their existing purchase rather than adding an additional item to the order.
To prevent this confusion, we recommend:
1. Changing the text in the offer to emphasize an additional product is being added
2. Ensure your CTA button's text makes it clear a purchase is being made (i.e. "Buy Now", "Add Product to Order")
If confusion continues after this, we recommend ensuring the upsell product being offered is not a product already contained in the order.

It's a poor OCU app as their app engine often does not trigger the upsell funnel. When asking their support about it, they don't really have an answer as to why this occurs, other than 'extreme load' on the servers. I recommend going with one of the other upsell apps.
Even with minimal post purchase upsells setup, this app will potentially charge you hundreds of $ as it's pricing is based on TOTAL orders, not orders where the app is actually deployed. For us, the return on the investment was not worth it. We spent hundreds in charges for this app in one month alone, which given that all it really does is apply a very simple post purchase script, seems ridiculous.
It's disappointing the developer isnt flexible with their Australian customers to assist with a store demo/ help setting up the app, unless you want a time slot between 2am and 5am.
