SEO Speed Image Optimizer works better than the compression programs I use, and Tobias from the support team helped me solve all my problems by intervening immediately. I would also like to thank him.
We’ve been using this app on our Shopify store and the performance improvements have been great. The optimization works smoothly and helps our site load faster without breaking anything. What really stands out is the support team—Nim has been extremely helpful, responsive, and proactive in making sure everything works properly. Excellent app and excellent support. Highly recommended!

Die Alt-Texte werden rel. "einfach" aus den umliegenden Informationen zusammengesetzt (scheinbar ohne Ai) - vermutlich nicht optimal für SEO etc.
Die App läuft meines Erachtens noch nicht ganz rund und sauber (App in Optimierungs-/Entwicklungsphase)

Regarding image alt text, it is correct that at present, our app generates alt text based on existing information such as product name, variant, and store name. We have been aware of the possible limitation of this image alt format, and as a part of our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement, we are actively working to bring more advanced features that can help users optimize their images for SEO in the best possible way.
And I am glad to inform you that we are about to release a new feature with the assistance of AI, designed to create more customized and SEO-optimized alt text. It can support multiple languages, and you will even have the option to provide additional instructions to guide the AI if desired. Exactly what we were looking for to optimize not only our shop images but also images used for styling, blog posts, etc. Now our design team can upload raw files without any problems, and we can optimize everything automatically or manually according to our desired settings, including ALT texts for SEO and screen readers. Very cool. Kudos to Penelope for the quick support and great communication!
