Key Points Regarding Refunds:

Generally Not Allowed:
"Refunds for payments made for subscribing into periodic AutoDS' subscription plans are generally not allowed or available..." This is the primary statement.

Exceptions:
Mandatory Under Applicable Laws: Refunds are possible if required by law. This depends on your location and consumer protection laws.
AutoDS Discretion: AutoDS may approve refunds on a case-by-case basis. This is entirely at their discretion.
Fees: Even if a refund is granted at their discretion, they can deduct up to 15% in fees, plus any fees charged by the payment processor.
Cancellation: You can cancel future payments by terminating your user account. This stops future charges but doesn't guarantee a refund for past payments.

The app offers a 14-day trial which is not 14-days but 13-days before they actually charge you a full subscription. They do not make it easy to cancel as support is on the other side of the world. The one star is because of the trial not being honored and the support being what it is.

While the app is complex and has a lot of capability, the trial is not long enough to explore its full capabilities.

If it meets your needs, great. It didn't meet mine.

I was scammed! do not recommend when you go in they show you there is a free trial,Then charge you right away a very high payment of 250$ without consent and once you ask for help there is no response since it was done on purpose, do not fall for it!

A year ago this app was good, now a days the app has a lot of problems, and nothing has been solved.
can't update inventory and prices, can't edit items, images are disappearing, no update from source suppliers, the app is shows wrong inventory which considered very risky for drop shipping,
the support just sent all these issues to their engineers and it has been 70 days and they are still done NOTHING.

WARNING! AutoDS is a SCAM. It doesn't work. If you ask for a refund for the trial they put you through many departments saying this is the wrong department and there is too many tickets open we'll have to close this ticket game. They refuse to give full refunds. Be warned it is a SCAM!

This is the worst app for dropshipping, I have so many negative things to say about autods, I really don't know where to start. I was using this app 2 years ago and I left them with disappointment, I thought these guys would have updated with time but I was completely wrong, they are still the same. DO NOT LISTEN TO THESE GORUS ON YOUTUBE THEY MAKE MONEY WHEN YOU USE THEIR LINK. Autods pays them.

First of all, I linked a product from aliExpress and then when I got orders from the customers autods kept on giving me an error I contacted their customer services team they said someone will reach out via email and their excuse was that the supplier doesn't have varients in stock, emails was going back and forth for 2-3 business days and I had the same issue, didn't solve my problem.

Second of all, they won't even let you change your product name lol, in order to change your product name you have to subscribe to their $40 USD plan not the basic one. who does that.

thridly, they asked me to use their own autods supplier when I sourced the product it was the complete opposite product, then I told them to remove the sourcing they said you can't because you have to change your monthly plan lol.

I initially loaded $50 USD to my balance and when they couldn't help me out I asked for a refund and instead of sending me the full $50 USD, they refunded me $40 lol.

I was so frustrated then I went to CJ and DSers in which they helped me fulfill my order.

This is my third update to my review of the Shopify AutoDS app. I first posted on March 11, followed by a second update on March 31. I've been using AutoDS for over four years. It used to be a reliable automation platform, but the last couple of months have been the most difficult I’ve ever had with the service.

It began in early February when I noticed some of my product listings on Shopify had lost their main images. At first, I assumed it was an isolated glitch. But as I kept browsing through my site, it became clear this was something much worse. Main product images and in some cases, all images were silently disappearing from live listings. There was no alert, no system log, no way to know when it happened. I only discovered it by accident, and it turned out to be affecting dozens of products.

That kind of silent failure is incredibly damaging. It impacts SEO, kills ad performance, and destroys customer trust. And when you manage a large catalog, manually checking every listing becomes a nightmare.

I reported everything in detail to support screenshots, recordings, and product IDs but was met with the same generic response over and over: “We’ve forwarded it to the developers.” No timeline. No fix. No real communication. Days turned into weeks.

Eventually, I couldn’t afford to wait any longer. I spent entire workdays manually re-uploading images one listing at a time. After two exhausting days of work, support told me that since I had already started fixing them manually, the developers suggested I just continue and assured me the issue wouldn’t happen again.

A few hours later, it happened again.

More listings lost their images while I was still mid-way through manually fixing them. Two full days of work down the drain. It was clear nothing had been resolved.

This issue has dragged on for over two months and has made it nearly impossible to run my business properly. I’ve had to manually audit my store over and over, constantly putting out fires instead of focusing on growth. AutoDS was supposed to simplify operations, but instead, it introduced ongoing disruptions I couldn't anticipate or control.

Although timely, other issues like auto-orders getting stuck, being charged for credits that didn’t appear, and failed orders were eventually resolved, but they still added to the time and energy I had to spend just keeping things afloat.

Support replies quickly, but most responses feel automated or surface-level. After months of unresolved issues, confidence in the platform has dropped significantly. I’ve provided clear documentation, consistent follow-ups, and every opportunity for the team to resolve the problem, but without transparency or accountability from the developers, it’s been incredibly difficult to keep my business running smoothly.

I’ll continue updating this review weekly until the issue is fully resolved. At this point, it’s the only way I can ensure ongoing visibility and accountability for a problem that has caused lasting damage to my business.

Asked to resource product, they give me a link of high price resource that I wasn't able to make profit.
I add $52 fund in my wallet to process orders. When I closed my account they refund $42 while they got their fee by Shopify Bill.

They are abusive, "took $88 CAD from me for 15% refund policies" of my money, took it without authorization from my credit card, did not respect the trial time, overlooked the misleading advertising they provide. Who regulates this infamous arbitrariness? Beware of this modus operandi.

If I could leave a lower star rating I would...I lost $247 and change due to this app. I was charged this amount because of their 'usage fee'. I have barely used this app, and that is a generous depiction. After installing it a week or so ago I browsed around the app and eventually uninstalled it later that day. Yesterday I installed it again to attempted to use the 'Trending Products' page, I was unsuccessful due to the fact you need a payment plan to access it, now this morning I am charged for almost $250. Here is the fine print below:

AutoDS: Dropshipping and POD (Uninstalled) 1 Usage fee $247.71

I am very upset with my experience and the expensive charges made that were not clearly presented. I would greatly appreciate a refund or any grace resulting in a decreased charge to my account please.
