This app is a waste of time. I used this app to create customised pricing based on the calculator. However, there was no synchronisation between the calculator and the Shopify cart. Contact the support for help, but unfortunately did not receive any. Complete waste of time.

The checkout/cart integration might require additional programming then using a non-default Shopify product page structure (especially when using third-party page customization apps). Your case is being reviewed.

Updated after response from developer. Tried this app and followed the instructions for checkout integration, nothing appears on the product pages. Took ages to get in contact with the developer. The response was very unhelpful nothing like I have received from other app developers. All I received was a 1 line response saying it wont work with my theme.

I've only been using Calconic for a few days but I am very impressed with the app. Domas has been beyond helpful. I asked that three different complex calculators with conditional formulas be created and he was able to execute within hours. All of the calculators work perfectly and are now operational on our website. I could not have done it. I just don't have the programming aptitude. What a pleasure to find a company that can deliver what they promise. I highly recommend this app.

The only reason I'm not giving this app 5 stars is because the back end is a little glitchy - HOWEVER - the calculator works PERFECTLY and the customer service is absolutely awesome! The app it self is pretty good, easy to use and to integrate. The big drawback is the pricing model with very low impressions that forces you to upgrade the plan and is billed quarterly(!), as well as the price is pretty stiff.

I sell guitar strings - there is some relatively advanced math involved in figuring out what strings to choose if somebody wants to alter their guitar tuning. Not only was I excited to find a calculator for shopify , I was beyond surprised to find that it could do all the required math, but that it could be customized to fit my website aesthetically. This app is ok if you use a custom template. I spend more that 2 hours trying to get a simple calculation and never worked.
Too bad, i had great expectations. The sad part is that is the only Calculator in the Shopify App store that I was able to find.I wasted 2 hours for nothing.
The app says that it can be used for tiling stores to convert the quantity from sqt to boxes This is not correct, since there is no way to state the amount of sq feet that are in a specific box.
For example:
Tile X can have 300sqf/box
Tile Y can have 120sqt/box
This info cant be inputted in the formula. If there was a possibility to use Variant Metafields in the formula, this issue would be resolved.

THIS APPLICATION WILL ONLY WORK ON SHOPIFY 1.0 THEMES. Most themes these days are 2.0
Do your research & check what theme you have before getting excited about this app. Honestly, I love the endless possibilities of this app so much that I am considering switching to a 1.0 theme just so that I can use it, but it's going to be a massive headache to do that. le sigh...CALCONIC please update to Shopify 2.0 themes!
I have used this app for many years now because the UI is very easy to use for a new developer. Sadly, this app has had multiple occasions where it would randomly not appear on the site for over a day at a time. Very frustrating/embarrassing when we would send customers to the page to get a quote and there was nothing there. We had a major integration issue... Calconic prevented another app from working on our store. The other team as well as Shopify corporate were working with us on the issue. The Calconic team went months stalling with the typical "we are working on this issue" response and then no response at all. HORRIBLE customer service. Another major issue is adding to cart took 15 seconds+ every time and failed much of the time as well! This app also only works for physical products. I would recommend an app like Dynamic Product Options if you are willing to spend just a couple more hours learning the UI.. it is much more function and you can make it look just as good by writing custom CSS.

The issue addressed in this message is under investigation since the initial report. Our apologies for the delay, however, when a store uses various third-party scripts, it takes longer to pinpoint the possible conflict. Also, I would like to clarify that the Checkout Integration feature by Calconic does not work in tandem with other product customization apps intentionally for technical reasons.

We have added Calculator Builder 6 months ago. We are very happy to have many options with this app. This app lets our customers build a custom product. Is this company still in business? I have been reaching out to them so many times and no response. They were good to start but zero support and seems like it stopped working?
It does exactly what it says. Easy to build basic calculators for customers to use. Very solid, helpful app.
Very happy with this app so far! Does everything we need it to do and the and the customer service has been fantastic!
Used this app so customer can quote price and place order.
I did tests an simulate sales and paid for them before going Live.
After going live, the apps missed to send the order details so I can complete customers order.
Customer support was of no help at all. I think they simply don't take the time to understand the issue to apply the right solution.
I use an app Outside of shopify that I not only cheaper but work perfectly and was online within 30 mins of ''programming''
I wasn't impress by the support from the maker nor the support offered by Shopify.
After the last plugin update, I cannot edit any of the calculators: the right side menu of the calculator builder is missing. Please fix it.
The calculator apps works perfectly and Iooks great on my store. Customer service is excellent and timely as well. Recommended.
I use this calculator as an embedded tool to get prospective customers to work out the cost of their event decor hire by changing the number of tables and/or guests, including or excluding certain decorative elements. It is a fantastic resource. When I began using it, SEO checks indicated it had a huge amount of coding which slowed my site down. I contacted Calconic to address the page speed issue and within 3 days they'd applied the Gzip program to address it and now my page speed has been fixed. Great, responsive service! I would recommend them to anyone.
Very useful app for our website. Lots of options to create the calculator you need and customize to fit into your website.

Takes some time to get used to but overall good tool with huge potential.
1. Preview tool doesn't always work. I suggest embedding the form on your website and refreshing frequently to see your more recent changes.
2. Font selection is lacking.
3. Need more documentation on writing conditional statements. If you had more examples on your knowledge base more people would be able to just quickly copy/paste examples and change the values to whatever they want.
For example Line 1 below is saying if the answer to question #1 is 1, and the answer to question #2 is 10, then show the value 10.18. Line 2 says if the answer to question #1 is 1, and the answer to question #2 is 20, then show 9.33.
Line 3 says otherwise show zero.

Quick examples like this would help more people know how to use the tool
after a bumpy start things ended up working well, nice little tool and very customisation for the locations it can be placed into. we found a way that we can also put a background image over the generic design, it was quite nice we replicated the page color and put our company logo on it and using page fly we set this up as a op up , so had a small calculator icon that when is pressed delvers what appears to be a branded calculator. nice going, upgraded my rating
I used this to build a calculator that customers can use to calculate deck square footage and how many lineal feet of our product is needed for their deck. This app is very customizable and worked out great.

Attempted to get in touch several times with no response. The app doesn't show calculations in the checkout cart. When you make changes editing your app, it freezes and you have to recreate the whole calculator again. It shouldn't have made it past trial stage, it's not a full functioning app yet. Great idea, just poorly put together.
