COD King‑COD Fees & OTP Verify

After using this product for 3 months I observed that

1. At 3 instances CoD king marked the order as prepaid when it was a CoD order
2. The latest is today on 21 august 2026, it marked 700 rs order as prepaid with 354.70 rs payment
3. They will destroy your business

All in all, worst product, we will try some other product now.

How do I cancel my subscription?

A basic software issue took 36 hours to respond; the response I got was it's not resolvable.

Amandeep seemed not remorseful and extremely lackadaisical in his attitude.

The issue was as basic as OTP not being triggered.

If you have more than one shipping method, the checkout looks really bad, because you have to duplicate every option with a COD version. Very weak customization overall. Right after installing I reported that the app doesn’t do what I expected, but instead of a solution I only got stalling and ignoring. That’s exactly why they don’t offer a trial for the COD feature. I recommend using another app – competitors are much better.

I waited for more than two weeks for a change in the Sender ID and a response from customer support.

Most features do not work as expected. Customers are not receiving SMS messages, and all customers should receive them. The customer service is terrible—they take a long time to fix issues. This app has many problems and bugs, with most features not working properly.

Do not install this app or trust this developer (Notifik Technologies LLP – COD King). After uninstalling their app, their collaborator logged into my store and maliciously changed my checkout code, which completely broke my checkout process and caused a loss of sales.

This was not a technical issue, but a deliberate act of interference after I removed the app. I’ve reported the incident to Shopify Trust & Safety for investigation.

Recommendation: Use trusted alternatives like Shiprocket One-Click Checkout or Fastrr Checkout, which are reliable and safe for merchants.

THIS APP IS USELESS!!! It was never been used never been seen in checkout for 1 year!!! AND THEY REFUSED TO REFUND!!!!
