My account apparently got hacked by someone after the app was downloaded. Some started posting their content connected to my store.
cant manually settle the payouts is a deal breaker

Have sent product to multiple different creators through this app and not a single one reviews the product. I feel like its all scam people.

If the creators have received the samples and have not shared a review, then we'd recommend contacting the creator to see if they've had a chance to try the product yet. We used several Influencers and not one single one of them did anything, they all where happy to collect the FREE gift, after we informed them the gift is your use and to promote our product to their followers. One replied and added that they don't care... it is free and they do not need to do anything else.... this is an absolute disgrace that they demand FREE products and are not willing to promote your business ... nothing in life is for free... Do not use this App there are no rules for the influencer - unless you are happy just to give stuff for FREE
this app continued to charge me after deleting it from my store!!

The app is terribly slow, like dial up internet slow. However, you'll be waiting even longer for a content creator to actually review your product. I've had this app for over a year, and there is very little engagement, the search function is weak, and have had zero return. There is nothing to protect the sellers. Many fake creators wanting free stuff.

I understand the app is functioning at a slow pace on your end. This may occur if there is a significant amount of information that is stored on the app. I would like our Support team to take a look into this and see if we're able to replicate. You can access support by going to your Collabs Dashboard and clicking the 'Get Support' section. 'Get Support' can be found by clicking on the three-dot menu in the upper right-hand side.
In regard to content creator(s) reviewing products, you can try looking into creating contracts that outline the expectations for the work the creator will carry out. We recommend seeking legal advice when drafting any type of contract. -Victoria, Shopify Support.
Absolutely terrible experience. Creators just take free gifts and ghost. Shopify Collabs is a way for random people (not actual collaborators or influencers) to take free product from you. Not a way to make money, a way to lose money. Also, there is no expectation set by Shopify Collabs for these "creators". But of course there is an expectation to the business to provide something, whether free or a discount. Very disappointing. You are better off connecting with people yourself on social media platforms.

While Shopify provides the platform to facilitate the connection between merchants and creators, we don't have the authority to enforce these agreements. Great interface, but needs protections for sellers. I sent 2 candles out to "influencers" who have yet to post with them as agreed, and two months later, I'm still waiting. I've never had this happen before. Implement a deposit or something influencers have to put down so that sellers aren't out money if they do not post with the product!

I will reconsider my review when "influencers" can be rated and reported for failing to comply with agreed terms. I do not want to give free gifts to random individuals and then be ghosted!!!
Hey there, thanks for the review. I can certainly see the benefit of allowing merchants to rate the influencer that they have worked with. I am going to provide this as a suggestion to our developers of the application. With that being said, it is possible to create a contract that outlines the expectations for the work that the influencer will carry out. Zero app localization for Japanese. Reached out multiple times to support but they never update the interface to include Japanese.
