Sounds like there's some confusion around two similar features of Shopify.
The first is variants, which you've mentioned in your review, and are always limited to a maximum of 100 per product. The second are options, or "line-item properties" in Shopify-speak. These options are what Infinite Options uses to create an unlimited number of custom fields for your products including text inputs, numbers, calendars, checkboxes, drop down menus, and more. While there are some differences between the two, most stores find the end result is the same. Never experience any worst app than this. Disgusting app and worst support service. Don't try it all otherwise you'll regret.
too much work, didn't work properly, not for me, had some options that seemed useful to my site, but was not able to get them working...
not good, had no customer support, emailed them a few times and nothing, so now uninstalled and looking elsewhere
this is the worst app I've ever used! DO NOT INSTALL
Unfortunately this app just doesn't meet our needs. While the options sync well within the platform and the price does adjust on the product page, when added to cart, it creates multiple products within the cart which is much too confusing for the customer. If you're just looking for an app that can create bundles, this will work well for you. If you have a complex product with many different variants, this app sadly falls short.
This app has major usability issues when using swatches which lead to an enormous headache with customer complaints in my store. If only one option via swatch is allowed to be selected, the buyer has to uncheck whatever they selected to select a new option. The behaviour should be a new selection automatically selects the new option without the need to deselect anything. I got dozens of complaints from my customers after a new product launch saying my site was broken. I reached out to support and they suggested I just don't allow a single option, which is absurd. Really disappointed given the reviews this app has.
Very Bad customer service which leaves you struggle and answers after hours - very frustrating experience: I had to set up the app by myself before figuring out that it doesn't support the most important and basic option which is matching the variants with the prices in Shopify. They say they can customize the options once you set them for 20$ but when you ask them they don't
OK......After some time spent discussing my issues with tech support regarding the App and discussing my problems that I was having AND getting awesome feedback from Annette AND getting additional information that I needed AND realizing my lack of knowledge...go figure....and with the complete and continued followup by Annette......I would give the TEAM "Annette" an absolute A++++++ and of course I would highly recommend this App for your store!!!!
Useless, very limited options. and instead of giving free support they are asking for $20 to setup. come on!!
