If a customer files a dispute while the package is in transit, they will automatically refund the customer, which will contribute to your losses and can Aid in customer fraud attempts. Additionally, they won't be able to resolve the issue for you, and you will still be charged the fee.

The service you're referring to is chargeback alerts. This notifies merchants of incoming chargebacks, and by default, enables an automatic refund to be processed to prevent the dispute.
Although it can reaffirm a refund that was already going to happen anyway due to the chargeback, many merchants are willing to accept this because it prevents the chargeback. This of course avoids any potential issues with your payment processor
If chargeback prevention is less important than maximum revenue retention, you can always opt to turn off chargeback alerts and utilize our automated chargeback recovery solution.

An error had occurred in the app settings, customer service helped me with this perfectly and fixed it for me nicely, the app itself works very well for preventing chargebacks and keeping your dispute rate low, they are definitely the best out there

Don't bother with these thieves. They overbilled me $600 and refunded me. But had I not brought it up there is no way to know if they would've refunded those at all. Sad that I had to reach out to get it refunded. Don't see this app lasting much longer.
You received 320 chargeback alerts between 2/14 and 5/3. 23 of your alerts (7%) were not refunded due to issues like "can't find", "duplicate", and "already a chargeback". We refunded these alerts to you promptly and we also proactively flagged these alerts for credits with Ethoca. As we explained to you, these alerts are automatically submitted to Ethoca for credits. We apply refunds/credits once Ethoca approves them.
