Comments Plus: blog comments

It's a good app but it would be much better if there was a feature to display the most 'recent comments' within the side bar section of a websites blog or the ability to display the most recent comments on any part of a website i.e. home page, blog page etc.

Works amazing.. Support is very prompt and diligent.

Great app. It was really easy to install and the customer support is wonderful; I had a question about customization and my question was answered shortly after I sent my question.

Using the app is much easier than having to try to figure out the code for yourself or hiring an expensive 3rd-party developer to install it for you. Disqus is one of the most popular and best website commenting tools available so that is why we went with them.

This is the second app that I installed from Nexus Media and I have nothing but good things to say about them. I recommend this app.

Great product! Great customer service! Den helped me set it up on my website. It's a bit of custom coding and I accidentally made it more confusing as I was trying to test what he was doing, but he was still happy to help me. I would recommend the product and service.

These guys are great. I had issues with installation and their programmers jumped in an helps out. Their communication is outstanding.

I installed EasyDisqus and had an issue of trying to figure out where to put the code in tabs for products. Support was very professional & OUTSTANDING, THE BEST. They fixed it very quickly for me and everything is now working perfectly. Highly recommended. 5++++

EasyDisqus has really improved the utility of my Blog articles and product pages. The conversations generated and facilitated by the app lead to increased sales for me on a regular basis. The customer service has been really excellent for me as well. Great team. Great App!

Issue #1. When a person comments on our content pages, disqus splits the pages. This means a new page is created for every comment. We must fix this with a manual csv upload to sync all the comments to one page (weird, right?).

Issue #2. On top of that, it took several emails for Disqus to explain this issue. Each email from their customer service took nearly a week to receive. So frustrating.

Issue #3. We experimented with an affiliate site. Disqus ended up duplicating the transactions and creating orders for their own affiliate network Viglink. In total, Viglink took over $300 in "ads" even though Disqus ads were turned off from day one. Still to this day, no one at Disqus has addressed the issue... much less payback the money.

In summary, never again will we use Disqus. Hopefully we can help some folks not make the same mistake as well.

Great app and easy to install. No idea how this adds value. I'm interested to see how many people comment. I feel like those most likely to comment are people who love sharing their problems with the world or other websites trying to spam me to build up their link juice.
