Amazing app folks. I would recommend it to any one who wants to sell coffee. It is easy and fun to use.
My store is better because of Dripshipper. The customer service I received was prompt, friendly and helpful. I look forward to the ways in which I'll be able to utilize Dripshipper and make my store rich with possibilities because of this app. Thank you!
I've been running my eCommerce coffee business for a month with Dripshipper now and not only have I ordered many of the products for myself and my family my customers have been ordering in droves from me with huge smiles and satisfaction! I highly recommend them as an eCommerce coffee solution.
This is a great idea, It nicely adds a simple niche to my store that attracts additional sales. And its order processing is easy
I've been using this company for a year now. They started out great with wonderful shipping turn around times and amazing products, then the new year hit and danny has lost control of his company. K-cups always come busted open, shipping times are not 2-3 days your customer is going to wait over a week to get their product. the coffee beans are great they really are but the premium stand your company use to be is gone.
12/19 update-
Customer order has fallen through the cracks. They ordered Dec. 18, the order didn't ship that week. I understand companies shutdown during the holidays, however Dripshipper said it's between one and seven business days for orders to process and the same timeframe for shipping. Support initially did not look into the specific order to provide more info when I had a customer grilling me about shipping (so I look like an idiot not being able to provide answers). His order didn't appear in the Dripshipper app so support told ME to recreate the order and mark it as paid. I refused and said that's not for the customer (me) to fix. We gave Dripshipper access to Shopify and they replaced an order which screwed up our accounting because the order wasn't marked as free AND the customer (already pissed off) got another email saying he ordered again but for a different amount of money. (Remember, all this is on you to relay to the customer because they think it's YOUR product that you're shipping.) While waiting for support to clear up the order, it gave me plenty of time to find the websites for the coffee suppliers and see that they have their own dropshipping and private label setup. I've reached out to them, updated my Shopify review, and discussed with colleagues how to ditch the middleman and work directly with suppliers for easier and cleaner communication.
In simple terms: You pay $30/month to be a third party without direct access to the supplier to provide your customer timely and accurate information. Dripshipper is simply a middleman app that adds another layer (meaning time delays and complexity -- and cost) for simple coffee orders.

ORIGINAL REVIEW
Everything you read about the customer service is true. Before we started using the app the replies seemed quick and helpful. When we were on the free trial we had two orders placed for our store. The first order was July 3 but there's no info about it (it's July 12 today), and a second order was placed the next day. The second order shipped and the customer already has it. When inquiring about order status the support people respond that they don't have access to Shopify info, even though I sent a screenshot of all the customer info. Several emails back and forth and I still never got specific details about the order in question. Be mindful of delayed responses because it makes US look like an idiot to OUR customers. If dropshipping is so secretive, remember that they have no idea that another company is messing with your customer service. To recap: a full 10 days after a customer has ordered -- our very first customer, no less -- there is no info about the shipment, the support team doesn't answer direct questions, except giving copy-and-paste replies about timeframes. Thankfully our customers are understanding and we're playing it off as "sorry about this, we're new and still getting the hang of it" but I'm expecting them to flip out and call out OUR bad customer service because of poor communication from Dripshipper.
If we hadn't spent a ton of money on creating our store I'd have shut it down before the 14-day trial ended. What a shame.
We've made some great changes to our customer support team to make sure we are all being as helpful as possible.
Thanks for the review!
Okay, so I've had them for some time now. I need to drop some honesty. They have good coffee product. However, it takes much longer than 3 days to ship. I have orders going past a week regularly. Irritated customers who are eagerly waiting for their coffee have to wait this long and it hurts your brand reputation. I may have to look elsewhere for services. That said, they have good customer service, but when it boils down to the details. They're slow and it hurts your company.
11/11/2019 - UPDATE: Looks like Dripshipper made even more changes that have negatively affected my shop and brand. They have added a new roasting partner with new coffee options and flavors which was initially a good thing but now the coffee is not roast to order. That "roast to order" niche was a selling point and often a way to get past slow delivery. It also allowed customers to customize their coffee. Now everything is a medium roast. I've now lost customers that prefer a darker roast coffee. They just can't seem to get this thing right.
10/8/2019 - UPDATE: I looks like Dripshipper made some improvements. The last several orders placed have gone out in a matter of a couple of days. In one case it went out the same day. I have to say I was impressed with that. I've updated my review to four stars. The only thing missing now is a logo'd packing slip with the shipment.
August 2019 ;
I have been using Dripshipper for several months now. There are definitely pros and cons and it is becoming harder & harder to overcome the cons with customers each day. Depending on the type of brand you want to build Dripshipper may not be your best choice. Definitely not a choice for a "Premium" or "Luxury" brand.
Pros:
- The coffee is excellent! They really know what they are doing in the selection and roasting process.
- It is definitely fresh and roast to order. No complaints there.
- Free shipping.
- Customer service responds quickly.
Cons:
- Although customer service responds quickly, you may not like the take it or leave it attitude they sometimes come across with. "Sorry our shipping is backed up do to high volume". That's it, nothing else, no "we are expanding production or hiring more people to meet the demand, please be patient". Just "your order isn't very important to us so we are going to take our sweet time fulfilling it."
- Order fulfillment is SLOOOOOOW! When I first signed up they met three business days like clockwork and it was manageable with customers. Recent orders have taken as much as a week and now DS has set their policy to 3-5 business days. Rather than ratchet up production to meet the demand they simply extended their lead times. Not cool!
- You don't get much in return for the $25 per month subscription fee. No colored labels or bag options (those are extra for "custom" products even though the labels are print on demand and could be color). No nice boxes to be shipped in. No real perks that normally come with shopify app subscriptions.
- No logo'd packing slip with orders. They just stuff the coffee in a USPS box or cardboard envelope, tape the hell out of it, and ship it. Not very attractive when it arrives at your customer.
- The K-cups do not have your logo on the seals. Just a generic "coffee" seal.
I would gladly pay more for a premium subscription that met some of these glaring needs. Unfortunately Dripshipper is really just a side business for Old Chicago Coffee Company and seemingly not a focus of development for them. I will continue to use them until I can find something better. If nothing else, the quality of the coffee is good and the free shipping makes the pricing tolerable.
I had an order canceled because Dripshipper refuses to honor my card on file. But they still managed to bill me for the month with the same card they applied a “Do not honor” code to. When I reached out to get assistance they kept telling me to ask the bank and when the bank told me there is nothing wrong with my card I wrote to a rep and Dan got NO RESPONSE but received an email about prices going up. I asked for someone to help me or give me a refund and no response. This was my first app and in the beginning they were very good but I need a vendor who will be honest responsive and not try to get over on me when I’ve been paying every month regardless whether or not I made a sale. This is bad business.
Woohoo! Glad to be working together :)
Firstly, the coffee is delicious. I have enjoyed it very much myself and have been forcing cups of it down my friends and colleagues throats. The aroma of a freshly roasted bean is glorious. Delivery is quick and the free shipping is fantastic. Integration with the app is seamless. I have a good website in www.aimhighcoffee.com that is working nicely with the Dripshipper app. Before I put more time in to marketing my only concern right now is the label. I have seen other peoples products popping up with the same free label including the company image we upload. My fear is that there will be an influx of online coffee retailers with the same looking label and people will become savvy to the fact that it is all coming from the same place and sales will not come. The other option available is to put money in to producing labels with them and or have a photographer they work with produce photos with your labels which could run in the thousands depending on how many coffees and number of photos you want to take. I spoke to Danny about this and he mentioned they are hoping to improve label services in the near future after I asked if it was possible to print directly on to the bags. My goal is to have a beautiful and professional bag that rivals the biggest names out there. All correspondence from the team has been extremely fast and professional. I am excited to be working with Dripshipper and am excited about what we can achieve together. Highly recommend you check it out!
