I have been extremely impressed with the professionalism that all of the representatives at Zonos possess. They have really helped us with our duty/tax calculations with the Landed Cost Guarantee program taking the guess work out of this area when shipping internationally. We use Zonos for international tax calculations and the Welcome Mat (we haven't moved over to Hello yet). We were launching a promo in less than 24 hours and needed last-minute changes to our now Zonos-unsupported Welcome Mat. Brandon Morin was knowledgeable, patient, and persistent (with his very busy team) and had the changes made with time to spare. Thousands of users and not a single Zonos issue during the madness of our promo. Thank you, Brandon -- you’re an awesome teammate.

Zonos has been a very valuable addition to our site and allows us to ship globally in a very manageable and efficient way. With the Zonos app we are able to provide accurate duties and taxes calculations to our customers at checkout which they then pre-pay to avoid any customer service issues upon delivery. We are able to ship internationally with confidence with Zonos.

Zonos finally updated their app that works with discounts! It took some time to get it to work with checkout extensibility but I appreciate that they did not release a half-baked product and that they made sure that the app works seamlessly. Zonos' team, especially Jordan, was excellent in keeping us up to date with their development. They helped us reinstall the app and made sure that the app was working correctly with discounts. I felt like Zonos cared about us and our issues even though we're just a small business.

We've had numerous complaints from UK customers that they're getting taxed almost double of what they paid for the products. Zonos does not calculate VAT based on the discounted retail price. They only calculate based on the full retail price. We found a solution by using automatic discounts, so we told their dev team about it. Somehow, that's not working anymore either.
We understand your frustration and disappointment regarding your customers experience and appreciate your efforts in working with us through this issue. When promo codes are applied in checkout, there are limitations to the visibility of discounts that Shopify gives in these instances. We feel a similar frustration and disappointment on our customer's behalf that this issue is persisting despite our efforts to work through this. We believe we have found a better solution to resolve this moving forward, and hope to have that rolled out in the very near future. Zonos will always work with our partners to present every solution possible, as we did with your store, and we deeply regret that the timing of this issue resulted in a poor experience for your customers.

We have used Zonos for 4 years now without an issue. International customers get duties and taxes up front so there is no surprises and no more return to sender.

We are just launching a shopify store, and Zonos has been fabulous helping us set up to sell internationally! Mark was incredibly patient helping me to get Zonos set up. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to calculate their international customs and duties on the front end of their customer's experience. Thank you, Mark!!! Update: The Zonos team continues to impress me. Fast, thorough, and just plain helpful. Such a breath of fresh air from so many companies with outsourced customer service, people that don't seem to even understand questions, let alone have answers. Than you guys!

I was contacted by Zonos a few years after writing a 2020 review and they explained the program is completely different now from what it was in 2020, based on customer feedback. They issued a full refund for the overcharges from 2020, with no expectation of an updated review. The entire refund transaction was respectful and professional and based on that alone I would give them another opportunity. We are not shipping as much internationally so we don't need the app now, but if our international shipping got busy then I would give them another look. I never had any unpleasant interactions with any of their support team during what was a stressful time for us in 2020 with huge overcharges from DHL. They say they have now taken over all the charges from DHL so our experience would be 100% different with no overcharged duties. That is reassuring and I'd be glad to deal with them in future. I have updated the review from 1 star to 3 stars based on the customer service.

Would give MINUS 5 stars if possible. I've lost $600 by shipping my most recent five orders using this app. (Zonos reported, and customers were charged, shipping, taxes and duties of $2960.57, but DHL charged me $3560.42 for those five shipments.) I've spent hours trying to deal with the problem and provide accurate info to their support team in the past five months I've had the app installed. Their support team responds quickly but is useless at fixing the actual problems with the app, despite my providing detailed screenshots of exactly what is occurring with shipping pricing. Despite their "fixing" the dimensions of the products. Despite their "fixing" the charges. Nothing actually "fixed" the reason the app continually undercharged every single international customer for shipping, taxes and duties. Oh, and of course, absolutely zero refunds from them and zero response to my multiple requests for a refund of the monthly fee or the shipping undercharges. I relied on others' glowing reviews to install Zonos but this app completely disappointed and I would 100% recommend you stay away from it. I suggest checking out EasyShip or FlavorCloud for shipping from US to international destinations. That's what I'm doing as soon as I uninstall Zonos.
We sincerely appreciate your feedback. We are deeply disappointed that we couldn't work out this situation with you. Since the shipping rates that come through our app come directly from your carrier via their API, the calculations are at the mercy of proper setup and having correct weights and dimensions for your items.
Had we hopped on a call together, we are sure we could have found a quick resolution. We tried multiple times to jump on a Zoom or phone call, but perhaps the time of year made it difficult for us to sync up.
We would like to work through the problems and take care of any merited refunds. Again, we apologize for your negative experience, and we would still like to take care of you even if this means you do not use Zonos in the future.

This was one of the best white glove onboardings in my 18-year career in E-commerce. The funny story is that we disabled Zonos thinking we had a better solution. A full 1 year later, we re-enabled Zonos as the other apps couldn't compete. Zonos also was willing to work with rate cards and shipping rate providers and communicate with them. Our onboarding specialist, checked in constantly, willing to jump in and move the launch process along. Thank you Lennon!
