DHL Duty and Tax Calculator

Very easy to use and powerful! This app helps people to know how much for the customs & duties or pay in advance. Highly recommended!!

Its ok. It is pretty basic though.

When shipping DDU (DAP) the language is a bit ambiguous, so it isn't super clear to the customer what is going to happen. There is no ability to update the copy at checkout to make it clearer.

Shipping costs can not be specified in any currency apart from the base currency of the store, which means you can't have rounded shipping costs in certain regions (which just looks a bit rubbish). It needs to replicate the latest Shopify Shipping Profile functionality ideally.

Otherwise, it is ok.

So far, so good. However, the app is a little basic in places and doesn’t offer the usual setup flexibility you find in other apps - such as editing language, removing or hiding certain elements, or adjusting styling.

I also don’t understand the order in which the shipping zones appear in the backend Shipping Rates section; it seems random.

Additionally, the Shipping Cost Breakdown doesn’t appear if your shipping charge is FOC and you’re not collecting duties and taxes, only displaying them.

Other than that, it works well and is clearly the best duty and tax calculator app available. The DHL support is also first class!

This route makes more sense for me than the alternatives and the staff was extremely helpful in getting set up. It improves customer experience by reducing wait times and coordination between shipping carriers and customers when dealing with customs due

This app lets our customers expect how much they should pay in advance, so we are now not getting any blame from them after we use this app! Shipping got a lot easier than before! I definitely recommend this app :)

This app was a life saver for my business. I have had the pleasure to work with Adrianne and she is amazing! Not only are they always monitoring your store to be sure there are no errors on their ends or happening within your store, they will customize your needs for your duties calculator. This is the first time in 3 years I can actually feel confident and at peace that I won't be running into any issues as I was having with another company.
