Since early December 2019 we had no conversions but many impressions like 191 which is very good. Can re-targeting can be focused on a specific area i.e South Africa?

The number of impressions you have received so far is too low to see any clicks, let alone sales. To increase the number of impressions, you’ll need to increase the number of visitors from other sources since retargeting shows ads to your past visitors only and is capable of delivering no more than 10% of what you’re getting in sales. If you’re already getting a lot of incoming traffic but still getting very few impressions from retargeting, you may consider switching to a paid plan to get more impressions.
As for retargeting only South African visitors — yes, it’s possible. Please reach out to us via chat in the app and we will do this for you.
Unfortunately, I can't trust the conversion reports for this app. The very first conversion we got with the app was from a transaction that happened 3 months before we even started using the app. That was very suspicious.
Additionally, we've found other transactions that are from friends/family that we know are also not attributable to any ad.
It does seem like ads are displayed because I've seen them (once). But the conversion reports give you the impression that the ads are working. They are not. In fact, we discovered products that had not been for sale for weeks being advertised.
Overall, disappointed.
So far so good, was easy to install. Since we only opt'd in 24 hours ago I will update this review after 30 days to let you know!
I used this app to try and increase sales, after 1 week I have had 93 impressions and 0 clicks. No sales from Rontar as yet, hoping that this will improve over the next week.
Hi, thanks for your review and for using our app. Since Rontar is a retargeting app, we show ads to your past visitors only. This means that you should already have some traffic to your website in order for it to work.
Based on the data we have, with retargeting it’s possible to add up to 15% in conversions to what you already have from other traffic sources. So if you have just 3-5 orders a week, it’s difficult to expect retargeting to triple that number.

So far so good. I will update this if the free plan doesn't work as advertised. I did have trouble changing out the logo, but it could be me. I will try again.
Very easy to install - now fingers crossed for some good results! So far so good, hopefully will replace my confusing retargeting ads!
This app was incredibly easy to installed and within a couple of days I was getting impressions. That said, my industry is super specialized and it hasn't resulted in clicks, but I think that says more about my industry than the app. I think for a more mainstream product line this would be a sure fire winner!
I use this app to help market my wedding decor. Just starting out but seem to be getting more visitors. Currently using the free version.
This app was super easy to set up and I'm excited to see what it does for my store. Makes me feel like one of the "big brands".
