I have been using Easyship for approx 18 months, it's a lot of work to set it up but once you are through that pain things generally work well. That was the case until about 6 months ago, at the end of 2025 I noticed a real decline in the availability of support staff for help with issues. It is now so bad that the AI bot is far more human and efficient at providing support than the support team. The support team are extremely slow to respond, use the same scripts to communicate and show no empathy or interest in your actual issue. I am owed money from Easyship for a UPS overcharge, my "service ticket" has been open since 27th January (today is 4th June) and I am still waiting and still chasing. Today they closed another open ticket I have (another UPS overcharge) and they have refunded me a lesser amount than I was originally charged. It's sloppy and very very poor service. They sent me a link to review them following the closure of this ticket so this is my honest opinion of them based on my experience.
We use Easyship specifically to manage international shipments for our EU 3PL operations, and it has been a reliable solution for our needs. The Shopify integration works smoothly, making it easy to route orders and manage international shipping requirements without adding complexity to our fulfillment process.
The platform provides good visibility into shipments and helps simplify coordination between our store and fulfillment partners. Whenever we've needed assistance, the support team has been responsive and helpful.
Overall, Easyship has been a valuable part of our international fulfillment workflow, and we would recommend it to merchants looking for a streamlined way to manage global shipping through Shopify.
We’ve been using Easyship for 1+ year now to manage global shipping for our hardware product, and it has become a core part of our operations.
- Their platform stands out for how well it handles complex shipping logic.
- The rules builder allows us to control routing across multiple warehouses and carriers with precision
- Overall while some carriers might have limited tracking the choice is ample and it allows to optimize for cheaper, fastest or best value delivery, and lets our clients choose what they prefer.
- The integrations (multiple warehouses) were seamless for us. Connecting Easyship with Shopify and our warehouse systems was straightforward, and it enabled us to automate label generation, tracking, and customer notifications without additional overhead.
- Support: while sometimes their team would need to clarify exact issues with carriers, especially when Customs delay is the case, they are very responsive and always available on live chat. Phone support is also available but in general chat support resolves the case.
Overall, Easyship provides the infrastructure needed to run global logistics efficiently, without unnecessary complexity.
I've only been using Easyship for 6 months, but I've been pleased. I am thrilled that I don't have to know about the different forms required if shipping to different countries!
Charged for 8 months on the wrong plan — and refused a refund
After my trial ended, Easyship placed me on a Premier subscription at £82.80/month without my knowledge. Their own email to me at the time stated my plan was Plus — not Premier. When I queried the charges, they acknowledged the email was an error on their part, but still refused to issue a refund, citing their T&Cs.
We send around 20 parcels a month. There is no world in which we would have knowingly signed up to Premier. The miscommunication from their own team is the reason I didn't question the charges sooner, and they've admitted as much — yet won't take responsibility for it.
I'm now pursuing a chargeback through my bank. I'd strongly advise anyone signing up to Easyship to check their billing carefully, as it appears plan upgrades can happen without clear consent.
Worked ok until the automatic verification failed after 6 months of using it. Rates were 20% off at best, but often 150% more than going direct to the courier. So be careful not to use the automatic shipping option as you'll pay a lot more.
I used Easyship for a long time and paid every invoice on time. After I decided to close my account, the nightmare started.
Easyship kept sending additional charges and hidden fees, claiming that the carrier had re-measured my packages and found my dimensions were incorrect. However, I provided photos, measurements, and evidence proving that the dimensions I submitted were accurate and that the additional charges were unjustified.
After submitting clear proof, I received little to no meaningful response. Instead, new adjustment invoices continued to appear week after week, making it impossible to know the true shipping cost of my orders.
The low shipping rates advertised at the beginning may look attractive, but be prepared for unexpected charges months later. In my experience, Easyship failed to properly investigate disputed carrier adjustments and left me dealing with a growing pile of invoices without resolution.
If you run a small business, be extremely cautious. What looks like affordable shipping today may become significantly more expensive later due to ongoing billing adjustments that are difficult to challenge.
Very disappointing experience.
Domestic UK shipping is ok - International shipments not ok. It told me my international shipments would use my iOSS number in the interface, but it didn't and all my customers had customs bills. This made them angry and wasted a lot of admin time/cash flow issuing refunds.
Customer service via email was slow and useless, it took days to get a response, and the response wasn't helpful. If you want to speak to somebody on the phone you have to upgrade your plan which you shouldn't have to do. Why would you want to spend more money to fix a basic issue?
I then had a sales person phone me to ask if I wanted to upgrade, I said no as I was having issues, he was like ok bye LOL.
Anyway CBA with this anymore, business running is hard enough without tools making it harder. I've ended up using Royal Mail Click + Drop directly as it's more reliable.
Constructive feedback - work on your customer service, if you'd have helped, I would have stayed.
It looks like it is a pretty good app, but having to pay the highest level subscription just to add our own carrier accounts, which in our case have significantly cheaper rates than easyship, and the fact that you get charged for every label on top of this made it cost prohibitive.
Terrible customer service.
App does not work property. Shipping rules were created and many of them not working. We have been using different shipping websites and APps for 14 years now and are expects are ecommerce. This App has a technical issue so we reached out to customer service 3 days in a row. No answer. Just looping one person to another.
All of their messages are fully automated even when you think you are talking to a customer sevice. My chat window is full of repeated sentences such as "I am truly sorry for the ongoing delay assocaited with the shipping rules." Super disappointed!
