Cleverific Order Editing

Great app, and great support

We used this app to help edit our orders whenever customers send in their requests. We love the “send payment” feature especially when we have created the order and require a prepayment from
our customers. Customer service is friendly and responsive, all in all a great app with good support.

I run e-comm ops for multiple clients and I always suggest they install Edit Order by Cleverific. It gives the power and control back to your customer service team to edit and invoice for add-on products, shipping etc as well as correct mistakes made at checkout. It even allows you to edit orders older than 60 days, which other Edit tools built into Shopify do not. I couldn't imagine running a store without this.

This app is great for making quick changes to orders in a compliant manner. When we encountered an error with the service, their client care team worked expeditiously to resolve the situation, and check in with us later to see how things were going. Thanks kindly!

This app is a must for the backend, it helps the storekeepers to edit orders and the most important part is that orders placed through the mobile app can be edited. Most other apps don't allow this. Super support from Laura and her team to resolve our issue within 24hrs of filing a complaint. Thanks for making this app.

bad customer service. they use a 3rd party app to pick up calls and take your info down and no one gets back. i didn't use this app and asked to cancel it and just realized i was charged all these months after telling them i wanted to cancel!

We use this app for creating/customising offline orders - the latest release of the app has enabled us to set pre-designated custom attributes (we use 5 fields to capture marketing consent and 'gift aid' status (UK tax relief for charities, and 5 custom fields for product configuration) - this new workflow has dramatically increased speed and accuracy for our backend operators!

This app saved us a ton of work when editing orders, requesting for additional payments from our customers and getting the latest order information. I love the team behind this app for their honest service and dedication to make this app better every time. Thank you everyone. Would not recommend it. The app messes with both the total sales number and the order numbering. Both are SUPER critical for tracking your store.

An absolutely must-have app if you're still frustrated by the limited editing capabilities available in the Shopify admin. It's not perfect, but nothing ever is. Kudos!

Edit Order has actually saved many of our sales from being lost, by providing a service that is not native to Shopify, being able to edit an order after a customer had made it.

You can invoice customers and have them pay on their own, which protects us in California, from chargebacks, instead of manually entering a customer's credit card. The logic in the app is flawless, and works exactly as you would expect it to, and has features you wouldn't even consider as necessary (but trust me, they are!).

Just an overall great app.

We use this app almost every hour! If a customer wants to change the color of what they order, you don't have to refund them completely, then re-charge them (which is not cool since refunds can take up to 10 days to post).

There isn't a single other app we use (and we use a fair amount of apps) that have been as useful as this app.

The reporting payments are a bit of a headache for now, but I know this is more of a limitation in Shopify, and once able to, the developers of this app will have it changed quickly. They're really on top of everything!

This app is a must-have!

They have a great help section with everything you could need to know laid out in front of you. If you can't figure something out, their support team is always very quick to help.

I don't know how we could even use Shopify without this app, it's been a lifesaver!

Great app, especially for companies offering customizable products, as it allows for rapid adjustment on a finicky customers order.

The Cleverific team is amazing! We had an issue that we couldn't reorganize products on the order. This was confusing our clients, because our main items were being input first and getting placed below the add-ons. We constantly were changing orders because clients needed add-ons (yay up-sells) to their order, but it was making the list look backwards. Now, we can reorganize our items to make it less confusing to our clients, and they love it (and we love it too)! Thank you to the Cleverific team for such a killer app, that in my mind, is a must-have for all Shopify stores! *I feel like I should clarify that this wasn't a feature that was in the app when we first downloaded, but realized it was something that we needed. They added this, because they obviously care about their customers and the experience with their app! Thanks again!!

We recently added this app to our grocery store. Because the actual weight of meat, seafood and deli items can never be known until you fulfill the order, there is a need to constantly edit the final sales price. This app is a Godsend. It does exactly what we need it to do and it works - And it is easy.

But here is the best part, the customer support provided by Cleverific is unequaled. I had a couple of issues (my issues, not the app's) at the outset and these guys stepped up to the plate and ran with the ball and solved my problems-- They really went over and above what was required -- I would give them 10 stars if I could.

The Edit Order app is excellent and well worth the cost - I've tried other app's, and they were worthless. Edit Order is a well thought-out, comprehensive app that integrates perfectly with Shopify. You may not use it every day; but, you'll be thankful you have it when you do need to change an order. An excellent feature that I love is that it preserves the previous versions of any order you modify. The only drawback is how it integrates with the reporting features.

The customer support from the Edit Order team is impressive - quick, helpful and supportive.

The app closes a very troublesome hole in the native Shopify. Most often it works excellent. I have seen, though, that it sometimes fails to set the fulfilment status correct on line items in an order.

I spent about 2 hours trying to find out how I as a distributor can create an invoice for the shipping part of an order that needed to be separately. There is no place to do that. Finally I called the software provider and Josh from customer service walked me through the process. I tried "everything" I could come up with, but I was supposed to create a draft not a final order. Okay, now I know it for the future. Thank you Josh for your help. Peter.

We turned to this app when the customer service support from another one we were using didn't respond to our email after 48 hours! We had no choice but to switch. What a good decision it was to choose Edit Order! There were many new features now available to us. Just today we had a question, and we received a response within 4 hours which not only addressed our customer's issue but also taught us something new about Shopify. 5 stars for Edit Order all the way!

There are currently 3 edit order apps in the market and this is the best one. I will leave a brief comparison below:

This App (Edit Order by Cleverific):
It allows you to edit orders, change prices/taxes just like the others. This app can also add extra properties to the items and the order itself, which the others can't. The support for this app is good. Josh typically replies my emails in a few hours and he really helps to solve issues. There are a few minor issues with this app, but I believe they will improve it constantly.

The other two (Edit Order by Lion Apps, Edit Orders - Editify by Booster Apps):
I believe they are made by the same shit people, because they look the same and work in the same way. They can edit orders and change price/tax, but they CANNOT add extra property to items as mentioned above. Support doesn't exist. They never reply my emails. The worse thing is they will try to trick you to sign up the premium plan when you install the apps, instead of offering the 14 days free trial. Watch out for that.

If you are looking for an app to edit orders, then this is the app you are looking for. Don't even bother to test the other two, you may end up paying for testing.

Cleverific is a great app that lives up to its promise. We are now able to alter orders as needed to run our store successfully. This app is definitely worth checking out.

Someone had ordered a lamp off our store with an EU power cord instead of a US power cord and I couldn't work out how to amend it easily for them. Downloaded this app and I amended the order with ease. Contacted their contact support regarding an issue and they had responded in less than a day. Very happy with these guys and would definitely recommend.

Great app! Although a new transaction and order # isn't the most ideal, I understand it's a workaround of Shopify's limitation of not allowing sellers to edit a submitted order. That's a big glaring omission on Shopify's part - its so common for customers to add/subtract items or change colors and sizes!

We've used this app a few times, and its able to "edit" an order as smoothly as possible, and transfer payment records to the new order. We did have an issue one time and Josh was quick to reply our email about it.

Edit order has been a lifesaver to me. We deal with variants and our wholesale customers are constantly changing their mind about sizes, etc. Edit Order makes it easier for us to make those changes and not have to worry about inventory since this is done automatically. Another nice addition is the Request payment feature were with just once click, whatever is owed to us after the edition, we can collect our money. This app is a must have!!!

Use the retail package for brick and mortar store. This cancels the original order, makes a new one with the edited items, and marks it as paid so you can't accept payment on either order. It also makes a mess of accounting. Hot garbage.

We are constantly doing custom developments for our store we've had since 2010. We sell not only B2C but B2B and were looking for a Shopify App to use in our new Shopify store to Asia that would allow us to adapt to their shopping needs and customs. Edit Order is an excellent tool which has allowed us to, out of the box, solve many of the issues we were facing. It is a simple solution which allows you to edit existing orders in any way you want. The way this is handled is clean, bug-free and intuitive. We also needed help with one small added feature and the developer of the app was flexible, kind and fast in helping us get this done. If you need to edit your orders for any reason after the customer has placed it, this is the app for you!

Solves a huge problem in the Shopify platform (not being able to edit orders) and does it easily and affordably. The app has lots of options but is still straightforward and easy to use.

They even just added to ability to collect additional money from a customer if they want to add something to their order.

I am blown away that Shopify does not have this functionality. Edit Order by Cleverific is exactly what you need if you take orders on your site and need to change/edit them in any way. Thank you!!!!!

Really helpful app. Reliable and saves a lot of time.

I have a relatively new store and have been using Edit Order for about a month now. I love it! It really does make the process of editing an order much easier. I especially like the notes it automatically adds to the order fulfillment screens in Shopify which make it great for keeping track of what edits were done to an order.

Also, support by the developer has been terrific so far. They quickly responded and clearly explained several points that this Shopify newbie didn't quite understand, even offering advice on how to get accurate sales data reports from Shopify.

What a lifesaver of an app! I feel it adds an extra level of customer service. The number of times customer phone or email after placing an order wanting to make changes makes this app priceless. It makes life so much easier and saves messing around with scrapping old orders and creating new ones.

Finally an app that allows me to change an order after its been placed! Only reason why not 5 star is when an order has already been fulfilled, and you edit the order it automatically sends the fulfillment request again which can get confusing.

We've utilized Edit Order nearly every day for the past two years. We utilize preorders and customers often want to make changes to their order before the product arrives. Without Edit Order, we'd have to cancel and rekey these orders. Also, whenever we have a question, the Edit Order support team responds quickly with the information we need to take care of our customers.

I really think this will be exactly what we need as soon as payment requests roll out to all stores. It's so nice to be able to edit the orders instead of leaving notes that sometimes get missed!

App is really helpful, and they are consistently releasing new improvements. I think it's the only app that allows for custom fields within a SKU. Highly recommend!

Like almost any app, it did not come without its bugs and minor problems. There were times when the search function did not return products and we had to use a workaround to finish a task. But then, there was something that is invaluable when it comes to dealing with software. That is great support from the developers!

Andrew, Drew, Tu, and the rest of the team have always been there when we needed them and addressing any problems usually took a day, or two at the most! Sometimes the guys were there even when we did not need them, just checking.

Totally recommended app overall, especially if you have to edit hundreds of orders a day!
