This is extremely useful once you figure out how to do everything. There are lots of tutorials that are helpful. Actually I haven't had to contact customer support at all, which in itself is unusual. Mostly I use it to export products to Amazon - it's by far the best/easiest solution I've found - though you do need to make a few modifications to the spreadsheet, a few fields are missing, but as long as you are proficient with Excel, this is great.

Please, let us know any of the fields that are missing in the Amazon export, and we can easily add them to the export.
Also, hoping you are taking good use of the ability to pre-fill the values in Metafields "amazon" namespace, and other fields, so that those values come out in those fields.

Much better system that Shopify's built-in importing. I genuinely can't imagine effective product updates on Shopify without Matrixify

I have found this app really easy to use even for a novice like me :-)
I like that it allows me to export all of the metadata fields that I have previously added as well as all of the shopify data in one place.

An absolute must have app for anyone who has more than one store and frequently copies products and/or collections between stores; it even handles metafields. This will save you countless hours compared to manual entry. Their support is also fast to respond and very helpful. My only "small" complaint is that the "Basic" tier ($20/month) can be pretty slow when importing a large number of items. You need to move to the $50/month tier to get decent import speeds.

About the speed - it's actually so that Basic Plan works in a "normal" way with the API, which is indeed rather slow.
So we have built a solution and infrastructure that allows to split your import data as 5, 10 or more parallel "threads", as a result achieving higher speeds than normal, with higher cost on our side too to make it all work.
That usually correlates with the size of the store, to keep the waiting times bearable.
That's why...
If you decide to pay so much higher for using that technology, I really hope it's worth for the value you are getting. For many clients, they look for ways to "buy the time", so we built one of those ways.
And I assure you - we are not making things purposefully slower. That would be totally against our value system here. We built a solution with which you can make it work faster than normal.

First of all i use the basic plan.
Matrixify is a very good application. I am overall very satisfied. The site I manage has a huge catalog and Matrixify allows me to save a lot of time with its automatic import and export. It's very easy to import, modify and export your catalog. The function to plan the tasks is also very practical. The documentation is extremely well provided and easy to understand to use the application at best.
I honestly looked hard for negative points, I can't find any, so 5 stars are deserved

Incredibly useful app! Excelify has allowed us to handle complex data entry much more quickly than we did previously using Shopify's built-in csv import. Of particular value is Excelify's ability to handle metafields, which usually requires a separate app and results in two separate tasks for updating product info and updating product metafields. Thanks for the great work on this app! We love it.
(EDIT: Oct 24, 2018) This app just continues to get better. And the support is unparalleled! As just one example, I emailed Maris about a small feature I needed and he emailed back within a few hours that he had implemented it already.
I should also mention that the documentation for the app is really comprehensive. This is a big weak point for a lot of Shopify apps, but virtually all of the questions I've had since starting to use Excelify I've been able to answer myself by reading through the documentation.
Seriously, if you're looking for a way to manage large imports and exports for your store, this app CANNOT be beat.
