Print on demand sites are not really set up for large collections with hundreds of variations on templates. Organizing them into coherent collections and categories is even harder. Without Matrixify launching and maintaining MyHometownVermont.com would have been impossible.

This is exactly the kind of thing that keeps us going! So glad Matrixify could help get MyHometownVermont.com off the ground and keep it running. Thank you! ❤️

Matrixify is exactly the kind of tool we need for managing a full Shopify catalog at scale. Lawn and Pets is building toward a catalog of 250,000+ products across multiple vendors, brands, inventory sources, images, variants, pricing rules, and supplier updates. Managing that product volume manually inside Shopify would not be realistic.

Matrixify gives us a safer and more controlled workflow for bulk catalog operations. We can prepare product, variant, image, pricing, SEO, and inventory files outside Shopify, run a dry-run import first, review errors and warnings, and only then proceed with the live import. That dry-run step is extremely valuable when working with large catalogs because it helps prevent bad data from being pushed live.

For our Brightwell Aquatics and Continuum Aquatics import, Matrixify correctly detected the Products sheet, recognized 316 products, and returned a clean dry-run estimate with zero failures and zero warnings. That gives us confidence as we scale this same workflow across the rest of our catalog.

Overall, Matrixify is becoming a key part of our product operations process. It helps us handle large-scale Shopify imports, exports, updates, variants, images, pricing, SEO, and inventory workflows without editing products one by one. For a 250,000+ item catalog, Matrixify is not just convenient — it is essential.

Reading your review makes everything our team puts into Matrixify worth it! 🥹
Thank you for taking the time to write this so thoughtfully, and best of luck scaling to that 250,000+ product catalog! ❤️

Really easy to use once you get the hang of making sure the uploads have the right column headers etc., but the support material is super helpful for getting this sorted. It works beautifully for us to update our products efficiently. Has saved us loads of time!

I really like this app — it’s the only thing that lets me manage and edit an inventory of over 20,000 products. Shopify’s native tools freeze past 1,000, so this has been essential. I recommend this app!

to go airtable to Shopify you cant use your own airtable, you will have to morp and rename all of your data to be the Shopify upload file anyways which can be done with airsync or airpower who makes you use their base. we tried to use the aritable URL but matrixify doesnt work with the airtable URL .
candidly not workt the headache. it isn't there and the AI gives terrible answers

Hello,

Direct Airtable URL imports are not a feature Matrixify offers, and is not in any way advertised. That said, it would be great if you could send our team an example of your Airtable use case and URL so we can look into it for future development of the app.

Even when importing from a URL, the data returned still needs to be in the Matrixify template, with our column headers and data structure which was also covered in our AI assistant responses.

We've already emailed you with the relevant links and details and would love to help you get your data imported successfully. Please reply to that email or reach us at support@matrixify.app.

We had no notice before adding three items to the API access needed by Matrixify, which broke our ability to use the app until we could get the store "Owner" to update the settings. We should get advance notice before our imports and exports are disabled.

Hello,

This appears to be a misunderstanding — nothing in the app has been disabled, and your imports and exports continue to work exactly as before. We always are very careful and make sure our changes do not break any existing exports or imports.

We recently added a feature to Export and Import Customer and Company store credits, which requires three new permission scopes, so we show a notification banner about the new scopes. But those only need to be approved if you want to export or import those new Store Credits columns. If you don't select those column groups or columns in the Export, the those will continue working without the new API scopes.

We've already emailed you about this and would love to resolve it. Please reply to that email or reach us at support@matrixify.app.

Matrixfy me permite hacer grandes cambios de forma masiva sin la rigidez de las plantillas que shopify te obliga a usar por defecto.

Well Done, Unlike the vast majority of app developers everywhere, these folks actually fix something when you tell them that it is broken. My ai projects work brilliantly with this app. And chat lanes need no longer lose continuity thanks to better naming processes. I am very glad to have a paying plan. It really is the only way to get trustworthy CSV files to and from Shopify.

[OLD REVIEW]

You will continue to have this one star rating until you fix this.
Works great otherwise when not directly sabotaging scalable behaviors through ignorant file labeling processes [Export ZIP internal CSV filenames not using Custom file name)

Shop: redacted
Job ID: redacted
Job type: Export
Format: Matrixify: CSV
State: Finished
Plan: Basic

Issue / Observed behavior
When exporting in Matrixify: CSV format with Zip CSV files enabled, the exported ZIP file correctly uses the Custom file name, but the CSV file(s) inside the ZIP keep generic entity/sheet filenames (e.g. Products.csv) and do not include the custom label.

This causes our automation/AI pipeline to misfile the extracted CSV, because it keys off the actual CSV filename after unzip. Additionally, our AI tooling does not always accept ZIP files, so we often need the actual CSV file name itself to be labeled.

Expected behavior
Either:

The CSV file(s) inside the ZIP inherit the Custom file name (at least for single-entity exports), or
There is an option to prefix/suffix internal CSV filenames with the custom label (e.g. Export_redacted B segment test_Products.csv), or
If only one entity is exported and ZIP is enabled, the single CSV inside the ZIP uses the custom name (instead of the generic entity name).
Actual behavior
ZIP is named with the custom label.
Internal CSV filename remains generic (e.g. Products.csv), so the label is lost once extracted/processed.
Job configuration details (from Job redacted)
Custom file name: Export_redacted segment test
Zip CSV files: Enabled
Sheet(s) exported: Products only
Started: 2026-04-17 23:01:34
Finished: 2026-04-17 23:01:49
Steps to reproduce
Create a new export.
Select format Matrixify: CSV.
Select Products (or any entity).
In Options, set Custom file name to any label.
Keep Zip CSV files enabled.
Run export and download the ZIP.
Unzip the file and check the internal CSV filename(s).
Impact
Automation/AI misfiles the extracted CSV because the meaningful label is not present on the actual CSV file(s) used downstream.
Extra processing is required to rename files after extraction, reducing reliability and increasing complexity.
References (current documented behavior)
Matrixify format template (Matrixify: CSV is a ZIP that contains per-entity CSV files)
Matrixify Import and Export Job Options (Custom Name; Zip CSV files)
Request: Please advise if there’s any supported way to have internal ZIP CSV filenames include the Custom file name, or if this can be added as an option.]
