I used to be approved for shop on Instagram (where 95% of my sales come from) when I was with Etsy uploading products myself. I thought switching over to Shopify would be useful as the catalogue updates by itself but apparently whatever integration they had is now broken.
Im loosing hundreds of dollars worth of sales. Going to go back to Etsy and uploading the items myself. Shopify support has admitted that something is broken in their integration and I bet it's because Instagram and Facebook are trying to make it so that you only need a shop on their platform without using a 3rd party like Shopify.

The Facebook sales channel is an absolute joke. I have tried to get a hold of customer service for weeks, if not months, and my account is still prohibited from selling on there. I got banned from selling on their channel before having entered any items into the store. I am a registered business in my country and I am set to become a diamond dealer next week, perhaps I should be happy the $100 million dollars worth of loose diamonds I am adding to my inventory won't be shown on your failing website.

I am also unable to set this up. And when I request support, it takes to a cyclical page just saying "something went wrong"

12 Days and the app and the Meta sites Facebook and Instagram have not worked. 5 chats, 2 phone calls, 30+ screen shots of the Meta accounts and apps problems and Meta could not solve their side of the problem. App side is unresponsive. Had to document Meta employees Tiffany and others lying about "trying to call" when they didnt. Meta tech response was to email me at 2:54am in the morning. No US Domestic help. Meta gave an ulitmatum finally saying I had to use software (apple) to record a video of me using the computer or they would not help and still would not call back. after the realized they gave me the wrong software they gave another final ultimatum to use a different software, upload videos in MP40 format??? or they wont help and its my fault they wont help. This is absolutely the worst customer service that I have ever had. I have chat messages and emails to document literally being lied to by Meta support employees. Do not trust this app, or the Meta Support team. if you are not a technical expert yourself and ultimately you have to fix your own problems because Meta Support will not help you.

I'm a bit puzzled why Ads accounts seem to get banned or restricted so often. Our online shop sells clothes and accessories for women, men, and kids, and unfortunately, our ads account got restricted or banned. We've been struggling to find a solution for this and it's quite challenging. It's disappointing to say that we haven't received the proper support we were hoping for from Facebook, and it would be wonderful to have live chat support to help us clear such restrictions. Can you please assist us?

This is a TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE App/product. Facebook is an absolute nightmare. Facebook constantly suspended my Business Account before permanently disbanded it. All I was doing was trying to install META Pixel and it is a terrible painful process. I even hired a Shopify Expert to help me and even he could not figure it out. An absolute terrible experience that is not user friendly. Extremely frustrated with the whole process.

Setting up a FB shop was rather simple via this app, just click through and done.
But I had a huge issue: in FB shop, 'checkout on the website' button on every product page would lead to an error page that reads 'Parameter Missing or Invalid: Required parameter missing or invalid: channel'
I wrote to shopify support, got an answer that the issue was escalated to the technical team and I shall expect an answer in max 72 hours.
Never heard back since. Very disappointed...
Then I disconnect everything and re-install and re-create the shop, same error pages...
Dont know what to do

I would have given zero if it was possible. Worst app ever, full of tech glitches for years. Why are you not taking action after so many customers shared the issues? Please hire proper programmers or let the ones you have fix this horrible app. You are losing customers each and every day you postpone addressing the real issue.
