I used the facebook app to connect my website and facebook page so I could sell my products through both channels. It was easy to setup and follow.

i used this ap to help me connect my facebook shop .... easy peasy. cant wait to start selling!!!!!!

The app doesn't track the correct revenue, it sends duplicate purchase events to Facebook each time the user reloads the order confirmation page, and it does not send deduplicating information to Facebook.
The support is absolutely useless, I have been in contact with the special Meta support for this app, and they keep asking me to check
- the pixel setup (which by the way is managed by the app) and/or
- referring me back to Shopify to ensure the app is installed correctly (Shopify were the ones who referred me to Meta).

So this is probably the 4th week for me with Shopify and Facebook. It's awesome that there's the Facebook Chanel option with Shopify... it definitely makes life so much easier. So far I had a lot of hiccups but I guess everything is new to me. For example I uploaded the items to Facebook Shop manually but then I realised that the two apps synchronise automatically and I ended up with doubles. I gave three stars so far because that is the experience for me at this point. I am aware that there are many features that I haven't yet made use of so I know that my rating will get better as I go along :)

Absolutely THE WORST APP EVER! Their support is horrific. I have been trying to connect the FACEBOOK app for INSTAGRAM shopping for over 4 months and still have not been able to get them to fix the problem connecting it to my SHOPIFY catalog correctly. I do not recommend this APP or Facebook for Shopify. A client who actually works at FACEBOOK told me that their support so bad - you are better off giving up as it is outsourced to India and they do not help anyone with any connectivity issues. Total waste of 1000s of HOURS as well as over $10K in employee time setting up our Shopify Catalog for Instagram shopping and we can't get it to work. We were told we are better off starting over with a new Instagram account versus actually getting it to work with our live pages, but we have the account since Instagram launched and our following is over 70K so this doesn't make any sense to start from scratch with new social media channels just to get Shopify to work with it, they should have better customer support!

Hi, I have tried connecting my shop and keep receiving a message that states "This shop is not eligible for shop with checkout on Instagram or Facebook at this time." But I followed every step and have a reputable business.

I love that Facebook has made this setup so much easier than having to setup Instagram separately. Now they both integrate and installation was a breeze.

Unfortunately it's not working right. If you have more than 1-2 and more sites in FB and using more features. This app make problems and it's not possible to finish the app the right way (like only what you need) and prepare only for one shop. The GDPR regulation it seems to make this app more difficult. The app looks good and the features are in the positive way, but something is not working right... also I have some other problems with my shop in facebook...
